IC Sam: I nod, "Very much... You?"

Jack: I'm right behind Sam, and slowly lower my head to her ear. "Enjoying yourself?"

Sam: I cling onto Crest's arm, startled by Jack's intrusion.

-I hold onto Sam- "What do you want?"

Jack: I laugh, "Well, after Samantha's little temper tantrum fight with Walnut yesterday, I thought I should come train her..." -grins insanely- "And I was getting bored.

Sam: Remembering what I did to Walnut makes me feel sick inside, making me shake with guilt and shame.

I'm off to sleep, pause?

Of course! Night Crouch! It was fun!

-I look at Sam- "What do you want to do?"

Sam: I bite my lip, unsure.

Jack: "You don't want to hurt anyone accidentally anymore, right?" I grin, "Let me train you. It will make life much easier..."

Sam: I look at Crest, then back at Jack. "Okay..."

"Alright, just remember our conditions though." -There is zero room for negotiation in my voice-

Jack: I chuckle, "I have not forgotten..." I look at my daughter, "You ready?"

Sam: I hesitantly nod.

"One moment"

-I walk over to the various other people on the beach and get them to leave and then I put up some spells so no one sees what we're doing-

"Please proceed."

Jack: I look at Samantha, my face turning more serious. "Now, I want you to close your eyes, and clear your mind. Don't let anything distract you."

Sam: It takes me a long time, partly because I'm surprised Jack could be serious, and because it's difficult for me. I nod for him to go on.

Jack: "Now, open your eyes, but do your best to keep your mind clear. Focus on one thing on this beach, and make it move."

Sam: I look around, finding a very pretty looking shell. I focus my mind on it, making it go to Crest, smiling.

-I take the shell and smile- "Good job!"

Sam: I smile widely at Crest, then feel my head being turned softly, but against my will.

Jack: "No distractions! The key to learning and harnessing your abilities is complete concentration and focus. I'm aware that it's difficult at first, but you, my dear, are very talented."

Sam: I nod, extremely surprised to hear Jack say that.

Jack: "The mind is very complex and hard to control. But once you learn how to control your mind... How to focus... You can do ANYTHING."

Sam: At first I think he's joking with that last sentence, but he's completely serious.

Jack: "This is true for anyone; not just people with speacial mind abilities. That's why people with confidence- people who BELIEVE they can do it- succeed."

-I quietly observe, wondering to myself if maybe I could learn it too.-

Sam: I look down, having not thought of this before.

Jack: "You see... To succeed, you must believe. I know it's difficult, but your boyfriend is helping with that.

"You can do it Sam, I believe in you!"

OOC I'm back for a bit.

IC Sam: I smile at Crest, feeling happy.

Jack: "Now that we've got that covered, let's move on. Your telekinetic abilities are tied in extremely with your emotions. So when you're angry, things get out of control. You need to learn how to keep your mind in control, even when you're angry or stressed."

Sam: I nod. It's weird, he actually seems sane now.

-I watch carefully and take notes to refer to later-

IC Jack: "Now..." -continues to instruct- "Focus on my arm, and move it.

Sam: I do as he instructs, holding my head; it hurts a little.

Jack: "Headaches are normal. They get less intense and painful as you practice. Now, push me back as far as you can with your mind."

Sam: I nod, knowing I pushed too hard when my headache feels worse.

Jack: I fly back far, landing in the water. I get up, "Excellent! But it's best to start out slow."
