OOC Okay, I'm writing this next one before I have to get on the DS.

IC COLLEGE

I walk out of the class, thinking over the assignment in my head. It will be simple... Very simple. I get bumped from behind, and the person just walks away like it was nothing. I glare at him, then walk over to him and say, "Excuse me, you just ran into me..." He looks back at me, dumbfounded.

"Oh..." He shrugs and continues walking. My eye twitches in anger, and I make him face me and punch him.

"DUDE?!?!" He shouts, then we get into a little brawl. Unfortunately, I lost, now lying on the ground because I couldn't keep my mouth shut.

"Excuse me... Are you alright?" It's a... woman's voice... Addressing... Me... I look up at her, and am immediately awestruck by her appearance. The light brown hair, the beautiful green eyes... And what looks like concern shows... I notice one of her arms outstretched, and I gratefully take her hand and let her help me up. This is so strange... No one, especially no woman, has ever talked to me sounding kind or concerned.

"Yes... I'm fine..." I continue to just stare at her, almost mesmerized by her just being here. She gives me a sweet and kind smile.

"Good... I saw that little fight you had, and I got really worried..." Feeling nervous, I straighten up, trying to look confident.

"I am Jack... Jack Nuel... You?" When her smile widens I feel like I'm in heaven.

"Sally... It's a pleasure to meet you, Jack." It's a pleasure... To meet ME! Me of all people! Me, Jack, the poor boy who never had a friend, and not even a real father. It's a PLEASURE to meet ME!!! I feel so overjoyed, and a bit confused.

"Well, Sally... Um... Would you... Like to, uh... Go out for dinner sometime...?" Sally chuckles, her rosy cheeks and friendly smile warming me,

"I'd love to..." For the first time in years, my lips rise into a smile, dimples and teeth showing.

My eyes widen, "Wow..." I look at my dad again, also thinking about Crouch, "What did they ever do to deserve all that pain?" My eyes water, thinking of how Jack was beaten by his peers, and his own father.

I hug Crest back, so happy and thankful that he's here with me, comforting me. "Do you think... That Jack can ever be sane again?"

OOC -laughs insanely- Oh, Sam, that's hilarious! xD Of course he can't! (Maybe in the third or fourth book... Whatever my last book of the series I'm going to write is... )
