"Not even going to try?"  Raven puts the stone to her arm, sucking all the magic out of her.  "Then will you give me that stone with Crouch's magic in it?"

"Don't River..." Artisan groaned from on the floor, "She's... a pushover... I can...do it.."

I smile at her. 'You can take my magic...but you cant take me. I will never give him it back.'

"Oh, you will... Maybe not now, but we will make certain that you do... I don't have the time to force it off you right now."  After her magic is gone, Raven takes off.

"No you don't!!" Artisan rises to his feet again and tries to tackle Raven off of her.

Raven punches him in the face.  "Just give up! You're not strong enough for me!"

'Artisan stop. Please.'

Artisan fell to the floor again, "I.. am strong enough.. I'm the best..." His voice was downtrodden and weak with pain, like he was trying to motivate and convince himself if no one else..."

I crawl over to him. 'I dont need a saviour, Artisan. I choose not to fight. I need a friend.'

OOC Death randomly appears for no reason whatsoever, but he needs to talk to Riv, so he's here

'Oh joy. another death eater, here to kill me. Get on with it, death. please.'

"Why do you think I'm here to kill you?" he asked softly of her.

Artisan falls into unconsciousness from all the pain he'd reveived...

'because you made it plain that was what was going  to appen when you next saw me.'

"I was angry. I let my emotions get the best of me." He stepped closer to her. "I'm nit here to kill you." He gave a short humorless laugh. "I wouldn't be able to go through with it anyways."

'Then what, death? Why come?'

"Quite the opposite. I came here because I can't kill you. Crouch has ordered that I kill you to prove my loyalty to the Death Eaters, but I can't kill you. I came to talk to you about faking your death."

'Why, death? I'm alreay dead, you might as well make it true. Just point your wand at me and say the killing spell. Its quite easy.'

"Because I can't kill you and I'll kill anyone who tries. It's all so fucked up, but I love you. That's never changed."

I open my mouth and then shut it again, closing my eyes. 'You...you hurt me so much...'

"You did the same to me, yet, here I am."

'I'm sorry.'

"I am too. Now, let's make this right. I've been approached by someone, I can't tell you who, but he's offered me a position in something similar to the Death Eaters without, y'know, Crouch. I'm thinking about taking it. They're subtler than the Death Eaters too." He wanted to know her opinion about it, but he knew she wouldn't be happy.

'so nothing will change...you just wont have my brother breathing down your neck. just someone else.'

"What else can I do? I don't know any other lifestyle than this. I can't just change on a dime."
