(( blargharggggggggg. I'm terrible at choosing things like this. I'm sorry ,I just can't decide. It might make Descole a bit more dangerous if he knew about the sword, though. Or if he knew Cynder was with Crest without really being able to find out where Honora is. That okay? ))

Cynder looked at Crest warily before entering the shack, shivering slightly, the pawprint on her chest gleaming as Justice growled in her mind.

OOC Sure! Not have him be able to see the place or hear their words (so no REAL spying could occur, but he can see the people but not the place!

Matthew: -I follow the two inside we we're just standing.-

Crest: "Remain calm." -He says as he stands right there and the the floor vanishes from underneath them as they fall toward this chamber. Crest might as well have not been falling at all as he was still standing perfectly still as we fell the distance.-

Shock, Cynder tensed up, her limbs going stiff and her eyes widening.

She felt her heart leap into her throat, her eyes looking terrified.
But she couldn't bring herself to move as they fell.

However, something nudged at her. Her eyes fogged over momentarily, as Descole looked through her eyes.

He was deaf to the world, nor could he tell where they were... only see the people.
And one boy, seemed very familiar.
His- or Cyn's- eyes narrowed as he looked at him before the sight flickered out of his twist with Cynder, being pushed out by a force other then the girl.

Crest: -I land on two feet as one would going down an elevator. I walk over to a display case of antique wood, worn through the years. Around the case were several newspaper clippings of Descole, notes about him and battle strategies, a couple in heaps and rolled up crumpled balls and others laid out. Also on the desk of obsession was a pictureframe of a young Crest, at least 9 years old with another boy around the same age. Both were smiling and proudly showing the Strayer crest pin on their jackets. Thumb prints line the edge of the glass as it had been picked up numerous times.-

Cynder landed uneasily, tripping over herself slightly and stumbling before gathering her balance and straightening.

She glanced at the desk, all the clippings and notes of Descole strewn on the desk. It intrigued her, and she stepped forward to look at it.

A wave of dizzyness washed over her as Descole forced into her head again, in only enough time to see the photo and the clippings about him. His vision faded again, leaving Cynder silent but troubled.

"So, what's the battle strategy against him..?"

Matthew: -I fall down right on my bottom, having no sense of balance whatsoever.- "Clumsy me..."

Crest: "I've studied close to every battle this man has on record. In all of them, he only showed error a couple of times, all of which being in the rare instances he has not had his sword in hand. To that end..." -I open the display case and take out the rapier.-

-It was a long blade, about 40 inches. While the sword was but a pound, it seemed to radiant with power. The hilt had a complex sweeping hilt with a small metal circle piece on it with the Strayer Swallow engraved into it. The blade was clearly well maintained and as sharp as the day it was forged.-

Cynder wheeled instantly back to help Matthew back up, offering him her hand.

The girl then turned and looked with wide eyes at the sword.

"Wow.... that's an amazing sword..."

A pause, Cynder spoke carefully.

"So you plan on disarming him with this, then? What if it doesn't work...? I mean... he's ridiculously skilled at Swordplay and-"

Cynder was cut off. Another wave of dizzyness.
Descole had enough time to see the sword and Crest.
He was again forced out somehow.

Cynder blinked and cleared her mind of the man, frustrated at how persistent he was.

Crest: "I don't need to have the experience that Descole does at sword play? You know how goblin metal only absorbs what makes it stronger?"

Matthew: -I am helped up look at Cynder with concern- "Is he back?"

Cynder looked at Matthew and responded under her breath.

"No... he tries, but all he can see is people and occasionally objects. He saw the sword, but... he's just strangely disconnected here..."

A pause, she looked at Crest with raised brows.

"Yeah, I know about Goblin metal. What about it...? Do you think he'll use some sort of gadget to get the upper hand and only help the sword..? Or what?"

Matthew: -I hold her comfortingly- "Keep me posted..."

Crest: "No, observe." -I take out a replica of Descole's sword and put it in the hands of a dummy I had down there. I bring the rapier to it and the blade glows an off white color and after a minute, the replica crumples into a pile of dust..-

"This sword WEAKENS whatever it touches. It's why I need to keep it in the case like that."

Cynder nodded to Matthew before looking with amazement at the sword.

"Holy-"


She gaped at the thing before her expression darkened again.

"But there's something about his sword- you sure it can stand against it?"

Is exact info on his sword in the bio?

(( No worries. -posts it- I'm afraid I need to go though. Can we pause this momentarily? I'll get Descole out of the Hospital so you guys don't have to pause there. ))

"Oh-" Cynder exclaimed, remembering a sudden question that hopped to her head. "I meant to ask you- do you know why Descole wears a mask?"

"I have cause to believe it ties in with his blade somehow, but I have no confirmed evidence."

A scowl, Cynder nodded again.

"All right. Thank you, Crest. That sword might be our only way to bring him to his knees.... so thank you."

-I nod to her with resolve, but it wasn't like the standard Strayer resolve, it was far more intense, more intimidate. He had as good as killed my best friend and cousin, this is personal.-

Cynder glanced at Matthew, her expression dark, reserved.

"Where should we keep the sword where he can't find it, Crest? It's probably best that once we're out of here I don't go near it- he might try and use me to find it."

"I may be better if I not tell you. But rest assured, I'll be there when he is..."

Cynder nodded with understanding.

"Yes, it's for the best. Listen, though... I don't want you hurt by him. You're a strong Strayer, Crest, but... but I've seen what Descole can do. He'll kill you quicker then you can even lunge after him if he wants..."

A pause, she shook her head and put on a lighter tone.

"Well, just to get off that subject...Would you like the head back, then..?"

-A dummy with Descoles face pastured onto it lunges at me as part of my awareness training and I quickly side step it and in a fluid motion, cut off the dummy's head with eerie coldness and grace.-

"Yes, I'm ready for him... go on ahead. I'll conceal the weapon."
