I mull it over in my mind, "What happens if I refuse the power?"

Camenzind: "You'd be a damned fool to."

She giggled a little "it does sound like a bad ass power.."

"Listen, Christopher, I know this power sounds like all negatives, but I KNOW you can master it, making yourself the third user to be able to master it."

"well nothing is all negatives.... "

"Well... okay, but what happens if the power goes to my head like it did with this Enzo guy?"

She smiled at him "I keep trying to tell you, you're a great guy Topher.. I don't see you being corrupted that easily"

"She's right Christopher, a guy like you never seeks power. Guys like you just stop the bad people who do."

She nodded completely agreeing with the older woman.

"Thank you for so much faith in me, really..." I take another bite of the pie, "And keep makin' pie like this and I'll be over a LOT more!" I laugh heartedly.

She grinned "it is some seriously good pie "

"I've had a few minutes to master it." I wink at the both of them knowingly.

she grinned at Camenzind "only a few minutes.. you and I need to talk baking sometime"

"Surely, I've seen you already are really good."

She grinned "not like this though.. I just dabble.."

"Perhaps, but if Topher's love of it was any indication, you could do something amazing with it."

Her gaze flicked to Topher for a second then back to Camenzind "I guess I had never really thought about it.. the whole memory loss this is usually my biggest concern.. well besides the almost dying thing.."

"That makes sense how that would take priority." I pick up my dishes and start walking them over to the sink.

"Oh I have something I need to give you."

She looked curious "really? what is it?"

"I have fears that Enzo will try to rise again. I cannot confirm this as he's found some way to block himself from my viewing."

"He always was a clever man, never made the same mistake twice."

This Enzo guy sounded very interesting indeed.. to be able to block an oracle is kinda impressive.

"To that end, I want you to take this." I hand them a round pendent that looked like a blue eye. An ocean blue was swallowed by a sky blue as it went further into the circle. In the center was a black dot to represent the pupil.

"It's an Evil Eye Charm. It will negate the effects of any evil eye's power on the one wearing it."

She looked at the pendant for a moment and then at Topher "I have a feeling this is going to come in handy."

Topher: "Thanks, Camenzind, but shouldn't we give everyone these?"

Camenzind: "Sadly no. It was hard enough to get that one." I point at it, and smile a little, "I'm afraid while my sight is.. 20/20, my body is just as fragile as any old codger..."

She was looking closer at it "maybe you and I can figure out how to make something similar.. though probably not as effective they could still help.. " she looked at Toph figuring if they put their heads together it could be possible.

"maybe, but ya loads smarter than me."
