I wince and almost just give up there, but I can't... I know for a fact Crouch would make it ten times worse for him, and maybe even kill him.

But...

I move forward and touch his shoulder lightly, lowering my voice so hopefully Crouch can't hear, wherever he is. "Please try to fight back... we could fake it, but try to make it realistic..."
