Gloria's Mansion

"Oh, that's going to be brilliant... Darcy isn't getting away with this."

I GTG. Night!

"You need rest though. That whole Darcy episode didn't sound to thrilling..."

He shivers. "Fair point. Rest first, Hogwarts second."

When Jay's finally sleeping, Rhi sits up and walks slowly arond his room, examining his belongings. Running her fingers along the cabinet and picking up a lamp. Eventually she sat down on a small chair and wrapped her arms around her small bump closing her eyes until her head lolled to the side and she drifted to sleep.

When he wakes his muscles are stiff from the crucios. He groans and rolls over groggily, before slowly opening his eyes. "Rhi?" he mumbles sleepily.

Her eyes flutter open, "Morning..." She eases herself awkwardly out of the chair and goes to sit by Jay, bending over to kiss him on the cheek.

He smiles up at her. "Sleep well?" He sits up.

"Yeah. Was alright." She stands up and moves to the window. "How does it feel," She smiles turning back to look at him, "To have a house and a family at his age... Merlin..."

"It's weird, man... But I wouldn't change it." He runs his hand through his hair, making it even more bed-head-ish. Jay smiles. "At least there's somewhere to run to, eh? If things get too bad."

Smiling, she says, "Yeah that's true. Crouch knows of this.plce though but otherwise we can pretty much do whatever we want. Not like we had much of a leish as it was..."

He gets up and walks over to Rhi. Jay smiles at her. "I'm sure if we asked nobody else would mind if we came here now and again for a break. Everyone needs some time off."

"And we're gonna need it more than others..." Her hands encircle her abdomen but this time her face didn't have that usual sour expression toward the baby.

"Yeah... Somewhere safe for him." Jay watches Rhi's face. "How are you feeling?"

"Good. Worn, but good." She turns around and snakes her hands around his waist, her head resting on his shoulder. "Do you think Darcy will be back?"

He puts his arms around her shoulders. "I don't know. I hope not. At least we've got the home advantage if he does. And hopefully the protective spells on the house will let us know if he does turn up."

ic, "Let's just hope he doesn't turn up at school or anything. To think I was going to marry him.." She shudders slightly.

Jay makes a face. "You'd have found a way out of it, I'm sure of it. You know I'd rather you leave me behind and make sure you two are safe than have you stuck with him." He pauses. "He told me he was going to raise the baby as his own kid... Sick git..."

"I don't think you'll ever visit the day where I ever leave you behind. I've told you this before, you're stuck with me now." She smirks.

He smirks. "That's a good thing, 'cause I kinda wasn't planning on letting you go. I'm sure I can find a ball and chain to keep you here." He grins.

"That's highly unnecessary. The real challenge is getting me to leave actually. I went for a little walk around the house while you were asleep...." She says sheepishly, "It's a bit of a mess you know."

He shrugs. "I haven't been here in a few months now. When Gloria was in charge she made sure things were kept in order. I guess Darcy didn't think it was important."

"We could get a house elf of some sort. You can't expect me to clean anything I haven't cleaned anything in my life." She smiles and looks away awkwardly.

"I wouldn't expect you to, sweetheart. And that's a good idea. A house elf would definitely improve the house."

"My Mother knows a woman who deals in House Elves. I'll see what I can do."
