The girls found Artemis, smiling at him while they waited too. They talked amongst themselves absently.

'Why exactly are you here Amaya?'
'I would say it's for a show, but Cyn's my friend as well y'know. She didn't get all pissy when she realized I care about Fuin.'
Mer nodded, still lost in her own distracting thoughts, worrying about Lukas.

The time had come...

Cynder's breathing grew short and rushed as she looked around the Ministry of Magic, a feeling of foreboding encasing her.

She was pale, her soft brown eyes stony and frightened, like that of a deer in the headlights.

-Both Topher and Joachim pull off their blindfolds. Joachim says to Crest,- "Was that REALLY necessary?" -to which he gets no response.-

Artemis: "Good to see you all got here safely. Oh Cynder... Cayden wanted to talk to you. She's down that way!" -I point in her direction.-

Cynder held her breath and nodded, unable to greet her friends really.

She did give them thankful nods, however, before smiling to Matthew and making her way to where Artemis pointed.

Cayden remained in her private chambers before she stepped out in judges robes, lacking the white wig that muggle wore.
'Miss Dustypaws?' the woman waited.

Amaya and Meredia watched all the people come in. 'Damn, Cyn's got a chance of getting outta this.'

Cynder looked warily at Cayden, seemingly calm before bursting out in fear-filled sobs, unable to hold her nervousness.

"Please, Auror Cayden, let Descole come to this trail. I want him more then anything here, because I trust him..!"

Layton stepped toward the group of students he had seen at Hogwarts, tipping his hat.

"Good evening. Is this it, then?"

Cynder choked back renewed sobs and shook her head, brown eyes foggy with tears.

"Please, Miss! He and I are friends... and I want him to be here. Please!"

Layton smiled at Amaya as well, showing no signs of anger at her leaving the fight back at the Underground.

Amaya pulled out her knives and sharpened the edges absently. 'Well this isn't awkward at all...' Mer coughed.

'Topher, since you're here, can i ask you to stop being a pain to Lukas? it kinda doesn't get taken out on you....'

Cayden sighed, looking at the girl warily. 'Friend or not, if he comes into the courtroom he will turn the favour against you.'
