Knockturn Alley

I don't look particularly impressed at her but then I turn and tear some cloth off my robes and wrap them around Sam's wound.

"To kill me. How predictable."

Azula: I smirk, "Yes, we Death Eaters do enjoy a good kill..." I look at him, "I guess we are very predictable..."

Sam: I sigh with relief. It still hurts terribly, but at least I don't have to look at it anymore... I snuggle close to Crest, shutting my eyes.

I hold Sam supportively, "It'll be alright." I promise her, not knowing if that was a lie or true.

Sam: "I know it will..." Despite that Crest lost and we're with a pyro-Death Eater, I feel safe and reassured in Crest's arms.

Azula: I laugh at their cuddling and love, "My, I didn't expect that to be so easy! Love is weakness... In fact, I can already tell that girl is weak altogether."

"That's not saying much coming from someone who had to have me weakened before she could take me."

I laugh, "Oh, please... You'll find lines like that won't really get to me..." I gaze at the two of them, just laughing at how silly love is. "But you had to be weakened before I could take you..."

"Then you should've done it yourself." I turn back to Sam, hoping with all my heart if nothing else she gets out of this alive.

Sam: I look back at Crest, trying to hide the fear I have. I'm happy I can be here with him, at least. He doesn't have to go through this alone.

Azula: "My, how pathetic... A Strayer with someone as weak and low-confident as her? You are a strange one, Crest..."

"Take us to a cell or something. Anywhere without you."

I laugh again. "I have no cells in here, but I do have a dark, cold basement that locks from the outside... I guess that's close enough." I look at them, wondering when that Riddler guy will be here.

This will be a piece of cake to escape from.

"Fine."

I drag them to the basement, throwing them in there. There are no windows, no secret doors, and the only door is this one. "There..." After shutting the door, I put some magical enchantments around the basement, grinning.

"Don't worry Sam... they won't harm you."

"... As long as they don't hurt you, they won't." I hug him. Azula wasn't lying when she said it was cold... And dark. The only source of light is a lightbulb hanging from the middle of the room, with one of those strings you pull to turn it on.

"Query is behind this, he's using us to get to Eagle."

"No... I think he's using you to get Eagle... Azula used me to get you..." I sigh, "Who is this 'Query' guy? When do we get to meet him?"

"He's a criminal who specalizes in riddle-based crimes. He seems to have a certain obsession with Eagle."

"We'll probably meet him soon."

Riddle-based crimes? Strange... "Do you think Azula will really end up.... Killing us?" I ask fearfully. There's me... Always weak and scared...

I frown and look at her, "Not... us."

He's implying that she'll kill him but not me... That sends a jolt of anxiety and fear through my body, making me hug him tighter. "No... She won't kill you... We'll get out of this..." My voice is anxious, shaky, and unsure as I try to reassure myself.

"There's little I can do to get us out of this. But... you might be able to."

I look up at him. "How?"

"Well she's seen my abilities, but she doesn't know yours."

IC "But how could my abilites help us escape? There's not really anything I can work with or do..."

Crest: "I'm working on it, there's always something."

Query: Having received her letter, I approach the location and knock on the door.
