Knockturn Alley

I nod, continuing to watch the man.

Hooded Man: "You should've been practicing your spying instead of following me." The words might as well have been icicles they were so cold.

Trajectory: I start approaching the man. "Who are you?"

I step out with Trajectory, my face looking as serious and cold as Crest's usually does.

I turn around and look at them. "I guess Joachim didn't deliver my message."

"That doesn't answer our question! Who are you?!"

I drop my hood, revealing my face.

My eyes widen, "Crest!" There's actually a hint of a smile on my face, but nervousness as well. "Crest... We need to talk..."

OOC To be completely honest, I did NOT see that one coming! XD Though, I'm reading a book at the same time. XP And the main character reminds me of Sam!

"there's nothing to talk about. I'm following my own path now."

OOC lol what book?

"Crest... Please, PLEASE tell me the truth... I know you would never betray your family... I saw into the mind of one of the Death Eaters that saw that plan... It was WAY before your time..."

OOC The Slayer Chronicles: First Kill. It's the spin-off series from my favorite book series, The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, except it's about the Slayer's. The main character, Joss McMillan, reminds me of Sam.

"I suppose you have caught me in a lie."

But I can't have my plans discovered just yet.

"While true, I didn't formulate the plan, I was the one who originally discovered it. And I'm the only one who intends to follow it."

"But Crest, WHY? Why would you want to? You've never questioned anything before, and even if the family formed it... You wouldn't betray your family, especially your brothers." My eyes are pleading for truth, for hope that he really hasn't changed into an enemy.

"McKenna, you of all Strayers should understand my motives."

"Doesn't it just SICKEN you that men.. no not men, BEAST like Descole and them are allowed to roam free?! After all they do!"

"He killed your brother... and you intend to stay a lapdog for them?"

I sigh, trying to hide all the emotional pain I feel right now. Our first real and long conversation is an argument... "I don't agree with what he did... I don't agree what his actions were that night; if he had done something, I could have my brother here, right now!" I sigh, taking a deep breath, "But I'm not holding a grudge; I'm sure Descole was just doing what he thought best, and that's all any of us can ever do, isn't it?"

OOC I just thought of something! What if in the Early years page, we RP Crest, Helm, and McKenna as kids? (I think it'd be cute. :3 )

OOC That's a good idea! When do you want to do it?

Crest: I scoff at her like she said something ridiculous. "How pathetic you are..."

Trajectory: I ready my wand like a knight defending his lady "Don't you speak ill of her!"

OOC I'd say right now, but I'm on my phone and can only do one thing at a time. Or I could go see if my mom is using her computer... That, or if you'd rather switch to that instead of this.

IC "I'm really disappointed, Crest..." I really do look a bit saddened, "The only time you really talk to me is when you're acting vengeful and nuts... Every time I tried to get closer to you, you'd just push me away...". I get out my wand, my eyes watering. "You weren't the only one affected by Helm's death, you know..." I point my wand at him, "Petrificus totalus!!"

OOC oh wait, Mer and I still have the Joa-Axel rp going. I guess once that's finished we will

Crest: Forgive me, McKenna...

I dodge her spell and send my own at Trajectory who uses a protective spell to defend outselves.

I send more spells at him, "Did you know I cried for weeks after Helm's death? I always wished you'd talk to me... You and Helm were so close, I thought you as my brother!" I know now's not the time for emotional drama, but it feels so good to get this off my chest!

OOC Okay!

-I feel a rush of affection for her but I can't let this show. And now I move onto another stage of my plan. I allow her spell to hit my package and breaks the contents.-

"You fool!!"

"What was in it, anyway?!" I huff, a bit frustrated.

Before Crest can get ahold of it, I grab the dropped package.-

I just stand there, pointing my wand at Crest, waiting to see what was inside.

Trajectory: -I open the package and find a bunch of scraps.- "I don't know what this used to be."

Crest: While they're distracted, I disapparate. Good, that was a complete success.

I sigh, frustrated, tears still in my eyes. I talk into my pin, "Artemis, we found him, but just lost him."

"Any sign of what he was doing?"

"He picked up a package, and before he could go, Trajectory and I interrupted. A spell hit the box and broke whatever was inside, so now it's impossible to tell what it was..." Wait... Isn't that what 'afelix reparo' is for??
