Diagon Alley

She had decided to wander down the alley, her eyes fixating on the quaint shop that so many wizards and witches bought their robes in: Madam Malkin's. A smile formed on her face as she placed a palm on the window, completely absorbed by the bustling people inside.

She was almost completely unaware of the disturbance above her.

It started as a soft set of mutters, the group of hooded figures gathering, drawing their wands from their black sleeves, peeping down at the girl in ominous hush.

'NOW! GRAB ALYSSA!' the command completely split the silence, piercing the girl's ears as she automatically shifted into a mentality of pure focus. Her knives were already in hand as many curses whizzed past her ears.

Amaya took some of them out with ease, before realizing she could do something else. Splitting into another copy, she diverted attention to the fake, the real one slipping away as the battle ensued right in the middle of Diagon Alley.

But in the end, Amaya and her subsequent copies had been trained very well. A couple of grunts wasn't a problem, it never had been.

One thing plagued her mind however; who the hell was Alyssa? They must've mistaken her for someone else...that was irritating.

The pair arrived at the street. Attempting to relax, she peered around, but she only made herself more paranoid.

She smiled, walking off down the street, to a tiny shop that was always overlooked by other peopel. 'In there.'

She regarded the tattered exterior with a smirk, before stepping inside and peering around.

'Damn, there are enough dresses in here..'

She absently walked up to a rail, flicking through it with little interest.

Krystal did the same, flicking through rail after rail of white dresses before finding a rail of bark coloured wedding dresses. 'different.'

She shook her head. 'It's different, but not my colour. I'll just pick the first lilac one i see...'

She finally found a lilac one, pulling it out. It didn't have a long train on it like most wedding dresses seemed to these days, it only reached the floor. Surprisingly, it was the right length for her.

Also, it was entirely plain.

She shrugged, yanking it off the rails and wandering to one of the dimly lit changing rooms. Minutes later, she emerged with a blank expression. The dress highlighted features usually lost under her school robes. Her shoulders were remarkably slender, body dipping in and out in a neat hourglass shape, lilac rolls of fabric hugging her tightly.

Amaya remained wordless, twiling a finger through her light brown ringlets.

She nodded slowly, still peering down at herself. 'It looks okay?'

'I'll take this one then.' she beamed brightly. 'Dress shopping isn't so bad after all.'

'Yeah, but you would hate it if you had everything, bridesmaids, maid of honour and all that.'

An old lady, the shop keeper, slowly tottled up to amaya and muttered the price.

'Good thing I got Abonacci's inheritence..' she pulled out a small silk bag, fishing out some galleons and handing them over. 'I don't have any bridesmaids..'
