| She sat on one of the metal beds, fingers latched to her temples, trying to force the images out of her head.
'Get away from me! please!' she was trembling, teeth gnashed together, yet more sweat beading down her neck.
'LEAVE ME ALONE!' she hadn't realized she was shouting, her voice cracking, as if the girl herself was about to splinter into tiny pieces.
Finally, her whimpers diminished to a tiny whisper, and she continued mumbling to herself, trying to comfort herself in any way possible, just ateempting to push the memories back.
