A "What If" Section

Hope you don't mind, Cynder, but your "What if" has made me think.

What if Phoenix got married and had a family?

I don't know who she'd get married to, as nothing's happened for her in that way in RP yet, and I don't know what's going to happen in the future. However, I think she'd be overjoyed to think that someone could love her even though she's a werewolf. If she had children, she'd probably be scared that they'd become werewolves as well, like Lupin was. But even if they were werewolves too, she'd teach them that they are still human, and the fact that they turn into wolves once a month doesn't mean that they're any different from any other witch or wizard.

What if Cynder was a devoted Death Eater?

I think if Cyn was evil, it really would lead to her demise in the end.

just realised something-

what if-
Voldy had never set his eyes on crouch, and never got to him?

answer-
River would have grown up with the Seth family. she never would have killed them, meaning she never would have found out she was pure blood, never know she had a brother or completely different family.
she would have grown up happily, with out any problems. the Seth family would have protected her untill she because 17, and then she would have left, and moved into Hogwarts permilaly as a teacher- or someone students could talk to if they needed help.

What if: Potion was embarassed of her beng Muggle born and started acting evil because of that, and if she never killed her brother.

She would probably be very proud and acting like the queen of school, trying to hang out only with Purebloods and insult her own parents, or even laying about her blood status.

What if: Meredia had never left her family to go to Hogwarts.

Answer- She'd be like Amaya and lose her magical ability and wouldn't become a proper dreamwalker. She'd work with her mother and Abonacci as a murderer or use her innocence as bait.

She'd probably end up in and out of Azkaban, because she'd escape a few times.

Mer would be a muggle supremacist...shooting wizards o_e

What If: Crouch were saved from his father by the Strayers

In the middle of one of his fathers beatings, Artemis Strayer breaks in and arrest Crouch Sr for child abuse. After this, Anne Crouch begins raising her son correctly and Crouch Jr takes on Artemis Strayer as his personal role model. When they meet again in Hogwarts, Crouch and Artemis become fast friends, helping each other to try and bring order to Hogwarts.

What if...It was crouch that was given away and not River?

What if: Darcy won the battle at Mortem Macnair's house and, after much persuasion and a few memory altering spells, he also won Phoenix's heart?

What would happen: They would become the new and improved Mortem and Gloria. They would lead the Hawkeyes in the right direction and achieve their goal: remove every single Death Eater from the world. It's likely that Darcy would have also tried to get hold of one of the Maker's 'creations' (to use Darcy's words) and try to either create an army of them or just study them. He probably would've gone for Eugene for the sake of ease.

You do like him a bit, even though you - to quote an OOC comment from one point - "wish he would jump off a cliff"

What if: Crouch learned about what Voldemort did to his memory as a child?

What would happen: Crouch would betray Voldemort, seeing him as just another in the long string of liars in his life. By the time the final battle of Hogwarts comes around, he'll fight against the Death Eaters , killing hundreds of them before they even stepped foot on Hogwarts grounds.

Ultimately though, he is killed as a result of his numerous injuries. But his contribution to the battle would ensure the light side's victory and he dies an unsung hero. His last thought being wondering if River was finally proud of him and he died with a smile on his face as he arrives at the conclusion she was.

oh my God Crouch.

What if: Crest was chosen as Head Strayer over Sound?

What would happen: The Strayers would've thrived much more, however their philosophy would never have changed. That being said, when Crest inevitably finds the coup d'etat plans he actually follows through with them. The Ministry is overthrown and Strayer law rules the entire wizarding world.

Crime is eradicated, but so is emotion and choice.

crime can never be eradicated, that's just an impossibility. As long as there is law, there is crime.
