She didn't want to mention her fear of the dead walking. It had haunted her her whole life and now her fears were walking around. "I hate them, the living and the dead."

"Speaking of living..." He gestured for them all to come over, "looks like we got us some live ones over there..." He pointed out a crack in the boarded window to a small group roaming through the town.

He whispered over his shoulder at her, "Can you put that in a memo and entitle it, 'Shit I already know?'" If there was one thing Chris couldn't stand, it was being told the obvious. There was no need for bloodshed unless they sprang it first. In which case, whatever deity they may worship have mercy on them...

"Just makin' sure you ain't an idiot," she muttered back. She gripped her ax in her hand and made no move to use it. She just held it as a safety device.

"Nothing here, they must've cleaned it out!"

"Oh joyous" Chris groaned sarcastically, "couple more putzes looking to put me in a bad mood..." He sighed as he drew his sword, "Can't be helped I guess..."

She pulled both her weapons free, moving out from behind Cgris but staying hidden. "Is there any reason to kill them...?" She muttered to herself

The door starts to open to their hiding place , "Think they're in here..." One of them told his group.
