She was awake-barely- but the second she heard footsteps, she feighned sleep. She didnt...couldnt talk to anyone. she was in pain, tired...and didnt want to be told that she had been hurt for nothing...

"Hey Krystal... you up?" He asked gently as he sat next to her.

She brethed a sigh of relief but didnt move.

"Good enough for me..."

"Well I have no clue if anyone's won yet. So I want to go over the plan with ya..."

"If your good guy friends win, I'll be taking ya to that party as a hero even if I gotta sling ya onto my back."

"If the death eaters win..." He gulped, "Well you can bet your ass that I'll be by your side, keeping them off your trail. Hidin', protectin'.. all that jazz." He promised her as he gripped her hand. "So don't you croak on me dammit. Let me make good of those words either way..."

A tear escaped her eye. i wont. im not going to die. i wanted to say something...but i coldnt...

"So yeah... good talk..." He patted the top of her hand, "Had something else to say, but best wait until you're up I guess huh?" He started to stand up and walk out.

Sawyer walks inside after Joachim heads out, "Yo..."

She waits until she was sure joachim was gone before sitting up, sincing slightly. Aainst her black hair, her face whiter than a sheet- she was also shaking, it was clear as she tried to smile at him.
'How is he? really?' she asked softly

"Well? The last time I saw the guy so antsy was when he saw this one auror guy at our inn. Cold face, silver hair..."

"But anyway, he's been worried about you. His pipe has been empty for an hour but he keeps relighting nothing."

She sighed, looking at the floor 'Im such a coward...I cat talk to him...What if he...I dont want him to want to look after me just because i tried to protect him...'

"Umm I don't know how best to say this so here it goes..."

"Just fess up already! I mean god dammit! You'd have to be blind not to notice you two!"

She snorts 'I think your seeing things'

"You bit a bullet for Joachim, name me one other person who'd do that?"

'You?'

"BESIDES me..."

'you asked me for one other person you cant change the rules.' SHe smiles as she shakes her head. 'But you already know how I feel. Him though...'

"Did you not hear all he said? Honestly he's dying to hear it from ya..."

She sighs. 'Fine' She places her feet on the floor, her hands clenching on the bed as she tries to stand up.

He offers her his shoulder, "Need a hand?"

'Please.' She lent heavily agaisnt him, her own legs barely keepng her upright. 'Lets...walk...'

He walked her slowly outside to where Joachim was sitting.

Joachim looked up at them, "Krystal? what the hell? You should be in bed!"

'I needed...to talk to you.' She let go of Sawyer and collapsed next to him, her head bent down as she tried to breath though the pain.

"What is it...?" He asked as he gestured for Sawyer to give them some privacy.
