I've learned to just try and ignore insults. In fact, the only reason I'm a huge pushover is because I've realised over the years that if everyone's bullying me they won't fight each other. That isn't true for everyone exactly, but I just prefer everyone to get along.

not true, people are gonna fight each other whether you fight back or not. i dont know what it is about us, but we just really hate big groups. you're actually making it easier for them to bicker :L

i would know, i was part of the bitchy crowd at high school. Admittedly some of my "friends" picked on the other kids and yet we still all secretly despised each other.

I just hate it though when I dislike one thing that my friends like, one fucking thing, and I'll be shunned for it. For example, when I told one of my friends that I didn't like the show Friends and that I'd never seen Scrubs, he wouldn't shut up about it for like a month, and even dissed shows I liked (e.g. "They're just copying Friends") and this is turning into a post for the ranting thread...-_-

Lou, I really don't want my characters in a relationship for the same reason. Even the Kurdt/Teddy stuff early on was never intended by me to get to a relationship, which thankfully it never did.
