My parents ignored my coming out as trans too. It's harder for them to accept that you want to change everything about you physically than for them to accept that you like to get it on with certain kinds of people.
Just be persistent, but if you're living with them you do have to respect them to an extent. Don't let yourself get caught in depression like I did. Please don't do that to yourself.

and yeah, death, still living with them is gonna be for a while yet which sucks, and so i'm just fortunate to have online friends and friends where i live that support me really.

So, this isn't really MY confession, but more of my favorite author's confession that they just put out today.
My favorite author announced that she (now he!) is transgender! I know most of you guys on here are transgender, so I thought you'd find it interesting and comforting to you guys. <3
