'did you have a vision?' she asked quietly, carefully. Aura barely spoke, slightly afraid. She didn't know what else to say.

Daniel held his forehead; his visions always left him with a throbbing headache.

"Yes." He answered "Of you. You seemed to be fighting someone."

Daniel reached for his bed, and clambered onto it from the floor.

'do you know who it was?' she questioned, wondering if it was bad news..
could he have seen her fighting Boris?

"I couldn't see their face, but they seemed to have a powerful kick."

Daniel looked at her with worry in his eyes.

"It looked like you were losing."

she stared at him with contempt, one step away from sheer arrogance. 'I never lose. i can teleport away. Im not exactly easy to catch.' Aurellia tossed her gold hair over her shoulder calmly.

Daniel shrugged.

"I can't explain my visions; I only know what's going to happen, not how it's going to happen."

'fine. But I'm sure I don't intend to be kicked in the face anytime soon.' she mumbled, directing her gaze towards the floor. 'you have quite a gift, you know.'

Daniel looked away from her and sighed.

"More of a curse." He muttered.

Daniel looked at her again, a look of reassurance in his eyes.

"You know, I could try and see it again if you'd like."

'no need. I really don't care if I get kicked in the face.' she stated, rolling her shoulders. 'been beaten up worse before.'

Daniel wanted to tell her a secret, something he hadn't even told Magneto, but he hesitated.

Can I really trust her?

"Listen, can you keep a secret?"

'of course.' she answered with no hesitation. 'why?'

"Well, let's just say I can't just see the future," Daniel hesitated again before continuing "I can also change it."

'Oh..' her voice trailed off, uncertain. 'And you didn't tell Magneto, why?' she wasn't going to say anything, not unless she really needed to.

"Because I've only been able to do it once, and I didn't want to disappoint him if I couldn't do it again."

'Yeah, that makes sense.' she nodded, smiling weakly at him.
'I'll keep your secret Daniel.'

"Thank you. So, do you want me to try?"

'If you want to, i mean, i dont mind being kicked in the head..' although she was bothered by the concept of losing a battle, Magneto had given her a little bit of trust..

"Ok. Let me give it a go."

Though he hated using his powers, Daniel felt compelled to help this girl.

He stood in silence for several minutes, concentrating every single part of his willpower into using his powers. His aura from earlier reappeared, though this time it was transparent, and Daniel's eyes remained normal. The aura disappeared, prompting Daniel to try again. This time, the aura appeared as it did before, and his eyes became completely white. As he saw her on the floor, about to be kicked in the face by her opponent, he forced her to teleport away to safety, thus changing the future.

Daniel breathed heavily as the aura again disappeared and his eyes returned to normal. Before his breathing pattern could return to normal, he felt lightheaded, and passed out again.

He awoke several moments later.

She teleported to his side, catching him steadily and with ease. 'You ok..?' she seemed genuinely concerned, more so than she would've if she was just following Magneto's orders.

Daniel felt like throwing up, but he held the urge back. He allowed the girl to bring him back to his bed.

"I'm fine." He lied "And so are you now." He smiled as he said this.

'Don't try and pull something over me.' she insisted, still scanning him over. 'You don't seem alright to me.' of course, she was grateful, but she didnt want him to harm herself because of her.

"No really; I'm fine."

Daniel covered his mouth as he started to cough. Taking his hands away from his mouth, he noticed some fresh blood on his hands, which he quickly wiped away on his jeans before she could've seen.

'I don't believe you..' she muttered, shaking her head. 'I don't like it when people hide things from me, it makes me paranoid.' she admitted.

Daniel gave up and showed his hands to her; he hadn't managed to get it all off.

she stared at his hands for a fraction of a second, still mistrusting. ' A'ight then..' she murmured, taking a step back. 'Just don't go hurting yourself because of me.'
