X-Men Role Play

"I guess it's just natural for you! That was really a lot of fun!"

I rubbed my head nervously
"Thanks, really." I smile a full smile, but it quickly vanishes.
Suddenly something hits me, it was a metal can. I look down and there were people shouting the word mutant angrily. I took a step back and retreated around the buildings side
"This is why I don't fly during the day."

"Just ignore them." I take her arm and move us more into the center of the rooftop.

I sit down and cover myself with my wings
"They're right...I'm a freak. They hate me because of other mutants..."

"hey now! There's nothing wrong with any of us."

I turn away, feeling awful
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean you..."

"Oh no, I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about mutants in general. Here, watch!"

I jump up onto the ledge of the building and shout out, "I"M A MUTANT!!!"

My eyes go wide and I stand on the ledge too, looking out. I spread my wings to their full theiir fourteen foot wingspan. For a moment nothing happens, then, I hear som cheers.

"You guys are awesome!"

"Are you part of the X-men?"

For the first time, I felt great, really great.

"Yeah we are!" I shout to the admirers.

"See? We're not as alone as the brotherhood makes us out to be."

I feel really warm at what the people are saying and what Christian said, a small smile creeping across my lips. Then I look over at Christian and get a really bad but kinda cool idea.
"Hey Christian..."
I creep up behind him and push him off the edge, then a few seconds after I dive after him, catching him and soaring upwards just over the crowd of people. Cheering echoed in the background and I smiled.

I look up at her, smirking, "I knew you'd do that." (I didn't lol)

I laughed a bit, "Did you? Did you also guess I was going to do...this!" I dropped him and then flew under him as he landed on the center part of my back between my wings. I grunted
"Your a bit heavy"

"That one was a surprise!" I tell her as I laugh it off.

I laugh some more
"You know...I spend hours sometimes just flying. Because...it's like I feel free. But...sometimes I wonder if I really am."
I start flying back towards the School

"I think we're as free as any human. After all, all predjuice gets forgotten over time."

"Professor Xavier taught me that." I speak in highest regard for the man.

"Yeah...true." I say a little distantly, "sometimes I wish I was as wise as he is. He seems to know a lot that's...really true."
I finally land at the school, letting Christian off my back and folding my wings

I get off her back and move to in front of her, "I still remember when I first met the man."

I go over and sit on the edge of a fountain, letting the tips of my feathers touch the water's rim.
"Really?" I ask, "what was it like?"

I join her by the fountain, "I had a vision of a future brotherhood attack. I had to warn him or a diaster beyond comprehension would occur!"

My eyes widen a bit
"Whoa...that's, intense. So, did he trust you? About what you saw?"

"Yes, I let him look into my mind to see. I figured that'd be easier than explaining it."

I smile a bit
"I find it really hard to hide my feelings when I talk to him..."

"He's a truly one of those men you met only like once every eon."

So, here's an X-Men OC I've been toying with:

Possible Name: Daniel Casey (Possible Mutant name: Bard)

Age: 14

Powers: Ability to predict, and change, the future, with Monkey Paw-like effects

Allegiance: Brotherhood

Bio: Though young, Daniel is one of the more powerful mutants alive. Discovered by Magneto at a young age, he was manipulated into using his abilities for Magneto's benefit. However, due to his inability to control his powers, he has failed to be of much benefit to Magneto and his brotherhood. Magneto keeps him confined in a small room in the hopes of isolating him from the outside world, and therefore give him more time to work on controlling his powers.
