A Playground in London

I grin, eairly close to the same grin Crouch would always wear. 'Just think, death. You and me agaisnt the world.'

The smile he placed on his face was forced. "Sounds amazing. It really does, love."

I laugh. 'I love you death'

"And I love you, River." He reached over and bushed a stray lock of her hair away from her forehead and tucked it behind her ear. "I'll always love you."

Sam is sitting on one of the swings, looking at the sky, one hand on her large belly.  She's daydreaming of when she actually has her soon-to-be child.  Maybe Crest will stay with her more, then.  What better way to protect a child than be right by it?

Charity was taking a stroll to cleanse her mind. It's what she enjoyed to do after a long day of being a maid. As she kept heading towards the playground, she noticed the girl on the swingset. She thought to herself. Should I approach her? She seems to be harmless...

Sam continues to stare at the sky, until she feels like she's being watched.  She looks around, the fear that it's Raven or Crouch or some other person out to harm her is here.  But then she sees the face of a stranger.  She tilts her head to the side curiously, not getting any sort of bad vibe from the observing woman.  After a long moment of silence, Sam finally pipes up, "Hello..."

Charity was startled by the girl's delayed greeting. "H-hello! I'm sorry if I've bothered you!" Charity apologized as she bowed. Her reddened face displayed her embarrassment.

Sam's smile to the stranger is a friendly and shy one.  "No worries! You're not bothering me at all!"

Charity sighed from relief. "I'm glad." She smiled back at her. As Charity stepped in front of the girl, she noticed the enlarged belly of the stranger. "Ooh, I see that you're expecting!"

Sam nods with excitement.  "Any day now!" Then she looks down, remembering what happened to Crest, her husband.  He's still at the hospital, recovering from what Crouch did to him.  I just hope he'll be better before the baby arrives...

Charity clapped her hands together, her face beamed with cheer. "Congratulations! That's wonderful! Is it a boy or a girl?"

"A girl."  Sam places a loving hand on her stomach, very excited for her to come out.

Charity sat down on the swing beside the stranger. She laughed, "Ah, you're quite lucky! Girls are easier to raise than boys, after all."

Sam chuckles, "I wouldn't know..." Then she extends her hand out, "I'm Sam, by the way..."

Charity reaches for Sam's hand and shakes it gently. "It's nice to meet you, Sam! My name is Charity."

"It's a pleasure!"  Sam smiles at her.  "So what brings you here?"

Charity started, "Oh, well..." She tilted her head upwards to look at the sky. She smiled faintly and resumed. "I walk around here whenever I get a break from my job. This place helps me relax."

"What's your job?" Sam asks curiously.

"I'm a maid." Charity replied. Her barely-existing smile faded.

Sam notices the faded smile, now asking with a little concern, "Do you enjoy being a maid?"

Charity sighed, "Not quite. However, that doesn't matter. As long as I can provide for my younger siblings, that's all that matters." She looked down and smiled again.

Sam smiles, "That's very selfless of you."

"It's what older siblings should do. At least, if they're in situation that we've been in." Charity insisted.

"What's your situation?"  Then her eyes widen and her mind starts to panic, "I'm sorry, I understand if you don't want to tell me..."
