The Moonstone, London

A quaint bar located near King's Cross Station, the building acts as a haven for people of all species. There are two sections to the bar: The front area reserved purely for the display of muggles and a back area for wizards with good connections and other supernatural beings. You must prove identification of your status to be let in.

Anyone employed at the bar has permission to stay in the upstairs rooms.

It is not a pleasant bar by any means, but offers what necessities its patrons might require, such as bottled blood and other substances.

The building itself is on neutral ground, and allegiances are frequently irrelevant here.

She'd decided to take the train instead of apparating, since she didn't really want to be hunted down by the Ministry of Magic for using magic whilst still underage.

The girl knew where she was going, that she could spend a few nights here whilst she collected her thoughts together.

Silently, she swept past the front area of the bar, knowing it was all a pretense for muggles. Amaya kept her head high as she spoke to the bouncer.

'I'm John Abonacci's daughter.' she spoke quietly, but with authority. The man shook his head.

'Not good enough anymore, sorry missy.'

'I'm connected to Jim Moriarty?' she offered, feeling her irritation spike.
'Isn't everyone?' the man responded with a smirk, clearly enjoying this.

'Fine, I'm a werewolf, and you smell like you've just climbed out of a bin.' she scowled at him, and he finally let her through.

Amaya peered around, sitting at the bar in hopes of convincing them to offer her a temporary job.

A bar, just what I need. I can get trashed, maybe get into a fight and get some. Not necessarily in that order.

"Shapeshifter." I tell the guy, not in the mood to put up with any bullshit.

The man sniffed the air, letting Joachim past wordlessly, he clearly wasn't paid to talk anyway.

Amaya was busy conversing with the barkeeper, keeping her tone hushed and urgent. 'Come on, you knew my father, it'd only be for a few nights..'

'I don't know, you Abonacci's are trouble..' the man was considering, the pallor of his skin a dead giveaway that he was a vampire.

'Please? I can be two workers for the price of one.' He finally nodded, and Amaya practically leapt behind the bar with a small cheer. Of course she'd known it wouldn't take much convincing.

I take a seat at the bar, "Scotch, and keep it comin'..."

She giggled to herself, pouring a glass for him. 'Boy you really are having a pity party, aren't ya?'

I grumble, just waving my hand dismissively, "Nah... this guy just had to get back to the jungle he knew... ya get me."

'I get you alright..' she stifled her laughs, shoving a glass in front of him. Amaya then shut her eyes, duplicating herself so she could work faster. It was okay to use her ability in here; she was surrounded by powerful wizards and other freaks in a sense.

'Let me guess, you're going to get smashed?'

'Nah, I just dropped out of highschool.' she was finding this quietly hilarious, how had he not noticed who he was talking to? Amaya shoved another glass in front of him, at least the drinks were free in this section of the bar.

It was then that she burst into fits of giggles, snickering. 'Calm it, i ain't gonna kill ya.'

I literally grip my heart area in relief, "Oh thank god... I thought it'd be Bangkok all over again..."

'What did ya think I was going to do? attack you in my place of temporary work? You don't bother me.' she rolled her shoulders, offering him another shot.
