Her palm raised to whack the man cleanly accross his face, her voice almost a hiss. 'you aren't the wizard out of you and Eagle. You aren't the one who sees me as an equal, who needs to think about the hypocrisy of his own allegations.'

Ace was seething, not letting him interrupt. 'He isn't the one putting on grandoise shows, kidnapping people just for the entertainment, is he?'

My face contorting and my body twitching, I take my cane and raise it in a threatening way to whack her with the handle of it, "I THOUGHT YOU UNDERSTOOD!!!"

'I DO!' she exhaled, taking a step back but not pulling out her wand.

'I do...' her voice was calmer now, not due to fear, but to rationality. She couldn't force him to listen to her.

'But what I don't understand is your desire to hurt people, to prove yourself to them. You don't need to.' It was all she could say, hoping it'd be enough.

Her other palm hit him accross the face, harder than before. 'i am not stupid! i am your EQUAL!' Her lips pulled back into a vicious snarl, wand already drawn.

I pull out my fake wand and press a button sneding an electric current at her.

She was taken aback, letting the current hit her. Her muscles contorted in mini spasms, making her gasp.

'And you said... you'd never hurt me..' Ace couldn't help the tear sliding down her cheek, the paralysed expression crossing her face.

'YOUR STATE OF MIND!' she screeched at him, knowing the wrong answer would irritate him. 'I don't need you! I don't want your disdain!' the girl shot a stunning spell at him, plucking the vial from her pocket and hurling it at him.

A part of her hoped it would splinter into pieces, to cut through the mask of apathy on his face.

'How can anyone love you? You've become a monster!' the girl gasped, feeling her insanity creep back into her movements, overtaking the little rationality she had left. 'what... happened to the person i cared about?'

You were right from the start Query, i guess i am superior to some people.

Not being particular dexterous, the spell connects with me. However the tiniest spot of moisture rolls down my stunned face.

'What happened to the one who loved me?' she repeated, calmer this time.
