"Weeeell... mind if I tag along?" I glanced over at my table (that was mostly the reds, right? I hoped so). There was a lot of laughing and goofing off. Looked fun. But... people. o.o

"I was originally born in the US. Moved to England when I was 5. Hopped over to France a few years later. Got my letter for Beauxbatons and went there for five years. I had a falling out with my parents, so I came here. I was adopted. No one would tell me what happened to my birth parents. I've tried searching, but, no luck. Ha, I don't even know my real last name." I scooped some eggs on my plate. "Sorry for rambling. I tend to do that sometimes."

"It's alright.. we all ramble sometime.." she leaned back a bit thinking of her own family "you know I'm sort of adopted myself so I understand where you're coming from... my family..er.. died and I didn't have anyone for quite sometime.. Though that's much different now. " She smiled thinking of Alexis and Crouch.

I smiled. "Well, I'm glad you've found people. I had friends.. I was pretty popular.. Then I started having these.. freak accidents. It was the magic, I know that now, but I had a tendency to set things on fire. Still do, when I'm really nervous. Flames just kinda.. come out." I shrugged. "After the first couple of times, I was shunned. Even in France. Not good with people I guess." I laughed a little.

I smiled and shook my head. "It would be. I love fire, really. Even with everything. I just can't control it when it does happen. I just run to a sink and keep my hands in the water until it stops, so I don't do any damage. I can't summon it by will or anything."

"Yeah, you're probably right. I just have to find someone who knows more about it. It's hard to find an expert on flames-randomly-shooting-out-of-your-hands.. Especially in the muggle world. My adoptive parents were muggles. Part of the reason why we aren't speaking at the moment."
