She looked at him with a mischievous smile motioning for him to stay close, this was the most people she had seen here since her insane birthday the year before and the easiest way through the crowd was to simply join it instead of trying to fight through it. She threw herself right in dancing and jumping with the rest, but keeping her eyes on Artisan so they wouldn't lose track of each other.

Seeing as I have to blend it, technically I could argue it's part of my mission to have a good time. I start dancing but staying close with Jinx. It takes all my willpower to not become the center of attention.

They were reaching the center of the chaos and Jinx grabbed his hand. It was like trying to walk through a tornado the blur of lights and bodies pressed tightly together as though one entity was entrancing as the beat pulsed loudest here.

Perhaps for the first time in my life I was glad Jessie wasn't here to see this. She'd have Jinx killed with a maximum of fuss after seeing her hold my hand. But she was leading me through a crowd of people in a strange place filled with people who most likely aren't too keen with my kin.

When they hit the middle of the room it was like being in the eye of a storm. Everything was slowed down to half speed a swirl of color and sound blurred together, she looked at him and smiled "we can hear each other now ... Scarlet made this spell.. Its quite interesting. Though the music can make people do things they normally wouldn't." Her voice seemed to echo but only he could hear her.

"Like what exactly?" I call to her, thankful I can hear her over this ruckus.

"anything really.. it just lets impulse take completely over."

"Ohhhh... crap."

She smirked "it's not that bad.. it's just all of us focus so hard on not giving into those kind of emotions, having a place to just cut loose keeps us sane so to speak."

"Okay so my desire to be in the spotlight won't magically overcome reason?"

She stopped dead "it could very likely.. it depends on how much control you have.."

Funny or serious?

Well the serious would be very gripping and intense, but the funny would be HILARiOUS!

No sooner had the sentence left her mouth, I jump onto a stage and yell out, "HEY PEOPLE!!! GABE STEINHELM HERE!!!"

She smacked her hand to her forehead as the crowd cheered waiting to see what he would do "bloody... are you freakin serious?" she sighed shaking her head fighting the crowd that swarmed the stage muttering to herself about inflated ego's.

I jump into the crowd for a stage dive! "YEAH!!!!!!"

A small child perched on the edge of the stage a stuffed bunny missing an eye was clutched in her hand as she grinned mischievously swinging her feet watching Artisan and Jinx carefully. Though she appeared young her odd red eyes seemed to know more than any child should, it was eerie in a way.

Jinx watched as he stage dived taking this as an opprotunity to pull him from the crowd she reached up grabbing his arm and pulling him from the hands of people who would ring his neck if they knew his true identity. "that was horrible timing ya know?" she said as she glared at him slightly.

"Don't blame me, it was the spell!" I raise my hands in a surrender stance.

She sighed "it's alright.. just didn't expect that to happen so fast... not to mention fighting this spell is very annoying. Every atom of me wants to cave to it, but that would not be a good idea."

"I couldn't help myself, I just HAD to be the center of attention."

OOC There has got to be a scientific name for what's wrong with Artisan lol

She smiled a little "it's alright.. but we have company.." she nodded toward the dark haired child starring at them.

Fighting against my vocal cords to scream out my name, I whisper, "That her?"

Jinx nodded "indeed it is.. just don't be decived by her age. I've never met anyone like her."


Scarlet made a small motion for them to follow her as she slipped off the stage and disappered behind a blood red curtain.
