"We're getting nowhere," he growls, allowing his frustration to colour his tone.

-I point my wand downward at the ceiling.- "Then we MAKE an entrance."

"Then we would also be making ourselves known, and we would be at a distinct disadvantage. There are twelve Death Eaters, two of us and six innocent people in there."

OOC: I'm off. Night!

-That's a good point.-

"The windows on the side then..."

OOC Night!

"It seems like that's the only choice we have..."

-I tie some rope around a chimney and check that it's taunt-

He waits patiently, checking over the edge of the roof again.

-I cast a Muffliato around the window area and then fearlessly I jump down from the roof holding the rope and swing inside, performing a series of flips and I land on my feet inside.-

OOC: Yay! I'm not alone anymore!

IC: Eagle waits for Crest to finish, then he takes hold of the rope. He studies the wall for a moment before making his decision. He climbs down the rope so he's level with the window, then pulls himself inside. There's an excited glitter in his eyes as he straightens up - well, half-straightens up. His shoulders immediately fall into a slouch again.

-I look at him as he lands, his excited gittyness is almost a carbon copy of Helms, fills me with a little relief.-

"Ready?"

-This is one of the first times I waited for someone.-

He nods. "Of course." Eagle shakes his sleeve so his wand falls into his hand.

"Good, let's go..."

-I start running down a hallway.-

He follows quickly, staying silent.

It feels odd to be the one out in the field again, but not unwelcome, he decides.

-I peer around a corner and see 3 Death Eaters guarding a door and I give a Halt hand signal to Eagle.-

He stops, sees the DE, and quickly calculates their odds. Chances we will win in a fight... well over 90%. Likely to be over 95%...

Eagle turns to Crest and raises an eyebrow.

-I give him a series of hand signals which signify "Wait here, I'll sneak behind them, then sandwich them."-

He nods. Good plan.

-I use one of the Strayers signature spells, shadow mimicry, to merge with my own shadow which I use to stealthily and silently sneak behind them.-

Eagle doesn't even blink as Crest disappears. Instead, he keeps his gaze locked on the Death Eaters, ready to react at any moment.

-As soon as the opportunity was prime, I spring from my shade and cast a stupefy on the first DE.-

Eagle creeps out of his hiding place, then fires an Incarcerous at the second DE.

-While the third DE was disorientated by the sudden attack on his compatriots, I give him a prompt kick to the head, knocking him out.-

He smiles widely. "Impressive. I'll admit, I forgot what it was like doing this sort of thing. It's almost addictive, wouldn't you agree?"

"No... "

"Tell me, have you ever lost someone on a mission?"

He shakes his head. "No. I have only ever been out in the field a few times. I usually stay behind and plan everything out. Of course, I have lost people in the teams I've sent out, but I rarely gain an emotional attachment to people."
