Prewett Manor

-It's time. I could've escaped from them anytime, but I purposely stayed behind to stall them.-

-I rock back and forth in my chair until I got good momentum and then I stand up and whack Atticus with the legs of the chair from my back.-

He gasps, his limbs trembling. "A... distraction..." He smirks. "Good one..."

-The chair now broken and the pieces of it and the rope falling down around me, I grab my wand from the table (did these guys flunk villain school?).-

"Surrender the hostages, NOW."

Eagle shakes his arms to get the feeling back in them, then points his wand at Atticus. "You cannot win."

-I raise my hands.- "Fine.. follow me.."

-i start walking, the idiots, the 6 strongest of us are still in with the hostages.-

OOC: Come on, you think Eagle would forget that?

IC: Eagle glances at Crest, a hint of amusement on his face. He returns his gaze to the back of Atticus's head. "You're giving up this easily? I'm stood right behind you, the Eagle, and you're allowing us to win?" he asks, taunting Atticus.

OOC Of course I didn't! But this guy is a DUMBASS! It's like he's the textbook example of things a villain SHOULDN'T do!

IC

Crest: -A weird noise escapes my mouth. It wasn't anything like words, was it... a chuckle?-

Atticus: "Shut up or I'll change my mind..."

OOC: Even the good guys do a better job of being bad when they want to...

IC: Eagle leans towards Crest and lowers his voice. "Between you and me, I'm 100% certain we could find the hostages without him, if it comes to that."

"I believe we could do a better job finding them even if we were depraved of all our senses..."

He smirks. "Naturally," he agrees, nodding.

-I looking at him an give him a warning look.-

-I'm more than certain you're aware this is a trap.-

Eagle smiles again, a mischievous glint in his eyes. Of course. It was obvious from the beginning. His change in behaviour was so sudden, it made me suspicious from the start.

"How much further is it?" he asks Atticus, making his voice sound bored.

"Right here..." -I open the door for them. Inside, as was expected, are the 6 DE guarding the hostages who promptly put their wands toward the hostages.-

Hm. I expected them to come straight for us. No matter; Crest and I are more than capable of dealing with this.

Eagle glances at Crest, an idea forming in his mind, albeit a simple one that could possibly go wrong.

-7 of them, 6 of which are guarding a hostage. Any movement will lead to a bloodbath. Taking the leader hostage gains us nothing. Diversionary tatics would e foolish. What to do...-

-I turn to Eagle to see what he thinks.-

He's reached the same conclusion as Crest. Eagle narrows his eyes, resisting the urge to bite his thumbnail. 'To bring down the great Eagle', he said. I assume he means death, so that's out of the question...

Eagle shrugs ever so slightly.

OOC: I gtg, night!

-An idea comes to mind...-

-I turn to Atticus.- "You think you had any hope of killing Eagle? You can't even handle me..."

Atticus: -Angered by the comment, I take out my wand and point it at his back.- "crucio!"

Crest: -Before the spell leaves his wand, I grab his arm and aim it at one of the DE. I then jab him in the nose to make him more angry and he fires off even more spells which I also make him send at the other DE via puppetry.-

OOC night!

Eagle smirks. Nice idea.

He moves forwards quickly, sending a jinx towards Atticus.

-The jinx connects with him and I carelessly throw him aside and go over to the hostages.-

"Mission accomplished."

He nods. "Yes, it went rather well in the end. Your ideas certainly helped."

"It was our only possible move, given his short temper and the numbers against us." -My words are modest and true. I go to start untying the hostages.-

He helps Crest, a frown on his face. "I suppose so. You understand why I couldn't give myself over, don't you? I don't wish to seem arrogant, but I'm too important to be exchanged for six normal people."

-Rather strange as a Strayer would surrender their lives to save even one person, and no one is more important than anyone else.-

"Let's just get them out of here."

"Yes... I'm sure they've had enough of this place. I know I have."
