"Oh well. At least we got to use it once." He follows, hands in his pockets. "If my calculations are correct, it would only add around 1% to our total anyway."

-It truly is strange to be near someone as smart as Eagle, I believe he may even be smart than me and my brothers. But still, he's a valued asset. But an auror of his particular competency should've been blasted. There's no way my family wouldn't have known about him.-

"Can I ask you something?"

"You just did, but go on."

-I smirk for half a second and continue.- "You should be a very famous auror given your skill so how does my family know nothing of you?"

OOC: Looks like I'll have to steal from L's bag of tricks again... But, then again, Eagle IS L.

IC: "I've used many names over the years so I don't come to the attention of anyone. Most of the wizarding world believes that my work has been done by several people. 'Eagle' is the alias I use the most, as it is the one I prefer."

"That's... very smart actually..." -He's very impressive. I know the Strayers created the monikers to help shield our identities but this is a whole different level.-

"I'll have to inform our intelligence department to scan the data a little closer."

"I'd rather you Strayers kept whatever you find to yourselves. I'd like for the rest of the world to remain unaware. While I haven't been very active lately, I still intend to continue at some point."

"You'll find secrecy is a commonality between us." -I promise him.-

He nods, smiling slightly. "Good. Thank you."

-As we're walking a part of the floor disappears under Crest's feet and he reforms after he has completely fallen.-

-I land in a lower level and I scowl and notice three De with their wands pointed directly at me.-

"Crest!" Eagle peers into the hole, eyes wide. "Give me just a mome- Ah!" He hisses in pain as he's bowled over by two more.

OOC:

-I look at the three, I go for my wand but they stun me before I manage to pull it out.-

DE #1: "Take this one to the boss."

DE #2: "Right!" -they pick Crest up and begin dragging him away.-

He rolls to his feet, wand drawn. Eagle trips over one of the DE with a simple kick and, placing one foot on his back to keep him pinned down, Eagle engages in a short, easily won battle with the second.

Once both DE are tied up, looking dazed, Eagle stares into the hole, his mind whirring. It's likely they're taking him to the basement, with the other hostages. However, I can't be sure. There are seven of them still able to fight against me...
Chances of success: dropped to 80%. Maybe 75%.

-Crest is taken to a different room from the hostages, where he is tied to a chair.-

Atticus: "Well well... one of the Strayer brats. and from what I hear, Eagle as well..."

"CRUCIO"

-Despite the pain, Crest makes no audible exclamations of pain, despite it being written on his face.-

Atticus: "Now, tell me everything you know about Eagle."

Crest: -I remain silent.-

Atticus: -I punch Crest in the face, breaking his nose.- "And now..."

Crest: -I remain silent.-

Eagle glances down the corridor and then into the hole. Crest... hostages... Crest would give me a considerable advantage over the DE with the hostages...

Crest it is.

Eagle drops into the hole and begins running.

One day, Chase, your sense of justice will get you killed, he thinks, smiling wryly.

Atticus: "Why won't you talk boy?"

Crest: "Because..."

Atticus: "Because...?"

Crest: Because I won't betray my best friend..."

OOC: Aww

IC: Eagle slows when he reaches a door, pausing to regain his breath. He waits, hoping to hear something, if anyone is inside.

Atticus: "Well you'll have to wait for your 'best friend' then... AVADA..."

His blood runs cold at the words. Eagle pushes the door open Mikami style and points his wand at Atticus. "I think you'll find I have impeccable timing. Lower your wand."

Crest: "What took you so long?"

Atticus: "Ah... Eagle... I was just asking the Strayer brat about you..."

"I had a few Death Eaters to sort out. My apologies, Crest."

His grey eyes narrow. "Me? Why?"

"Because I want credit for taking down the great Eagle..."

Eagle smirks. "I'm afraid that's not going to happen. I've survived this long somehow, haven't I?"

He shakes his head. "You are all so predictable. It makes things boring sometimes." He sighs. "Anyway... as I previously said, lower your wand."

"Make me!" -I point my wand at him- "CRUCIO!!"

Because he wasn't expecting the curse he had no time to prepare himself, and a strangled cry leaves his lips. Eagle forces himself to stay standing, but the pain is too great for him to even think of a spell, let alone cast one.
