'Lukas is the bastard, not you, remember that.' it was all she said on the matter, thinking on ways to get out of her predicament.

Cynder choked slightly and wiped her eyes clear, gathering her emotions.

"Please, Auror Cayden," She spoke a little more calm, "It doesn't matter what happens or what fate I get pushed into. But he's my Godfather and friend... Please... is it all right if he comes..?"

"Theres GOTTA be some way to stop him..."

sorry i bailed on you guys, i'm pretty sick atm and it was 3am.

Cayden shook her head in frustration. 'You don't understand Miss Dustypaws, he will get you thrown in prison, killed. Don't be such an idiot.'

Amaya folded her hands behind her head. 'Everyone has a weakness Topher, and don't we already know Lukas's?'

"No!" She snapped, her voice growing tense, stern, mature.
Her expression went from horrified to dark.

"No! Let him come! Please! I trust him! And you may not, but I do. And that's what counts."

"Because," She snapped in return, wiping her cheeks clear of the used to be tears, "Becuase deep down he's a good man."


She paused, inhaling painfully deeply.

"You hate him, don't you? Just like the others, you hate him."

Cynder shuttered slightly, her eyes darkening more, her nose wrinkling with anger.

The pawprint on her chest began to gleam.

"There's light in everyone. Forgiveness and love. And even though you don't see it, I do. To you I'm just some filthy little street mutt, aren't I? Aren't I!?"

"I disagree,"
She spat right back, eyes narrowed, hate forming for this woman.

"Let him come. I trust him. And if you don't, then believe what you want...."

A pause, she smirked.

"Seeing as how I'm a dangerous breed, aren't you going to chain me... strap me down? I mean.. I don't know if I can keep Justice in forever.."

A pause, she did remain calm.

And thankful, at the fact that she wouldn't be chained down. Yet...

"Fine, but I would prefer that if Justice does find her way out, I don't get thrown in jail for it. I'm just a shapeshifter after all..."

Cynder shrugged.

"Justice and I are one being, yet different souls. She can speak for herself, as can I. I can't explain her... if you want to know what she is... I can show you. I'll make sure she doesn't attack you, I've got a sense of control with her."

A pause, she scowled, and the glow from the pawprint on her chest began to grow stronger and more bright.

Cynder allowed the glow to envelope her until the white river dragon stood in her place, the mane running down her back prickled and standing on end.

It gave a soft growl, shaking it's head and flexing it's claws on the ground.

The dragon shifted, wincing and growling at Cayden, shifting her weight, shaking her mane again.

Her tail swished, baring her fangs slightly before a glow seemed to leak from her scales, and the girl stood again in it's place.

"If you must have precautions against her, try and ice her muzzle. She can breath fire, but closed jaws is safe jaws."

Cynder nodded, her face dark and stony.

"No. Nothing but make sure my friends don't go mad if I am sentenced to death or prison."

She frowned and muttered something to herself before turning her face away from Cayden.

"And this- don't do anything against Descole. That's what I really want. Don't do anything to threaten his job or his life. Or I will let Justice tear this place apart, my life on the line or not."

"Crest hates him, but it doesn't matter. The other aurors probably respect Descole- he's superb at his job, you know that."

She frowned and crossed her arms.

"If I were you, I would get me somewhere safe. I can't always promise Justice's control."
