Eugene: My girlfriend is in there... -I say trying to keep my rage in check, my fist shaking profusely-

Topher: C'mon... I never thought I'd ever rush to trial but let's get it over with!

Artemis: I'm ready when everyone else is

Jones puts her hand on Eugene's shoulder. "We'll get her out. I promise."

Jones sits, looking determined.

OOC: BRB again -.-

Eugene: -I take several deep breathes- I know...

-The rest pile in and sit with the defense-

-I take the stand first and speak in a professional tone- Representatives of the Ministry of Magic. Phoenix Flame and Amaya Desouza do NOT deserve to be in Azkaban. I realize that statement is a matter of opinion, but here's the facts. On the night of -Insert night of Phoenix's first killing- She was in fact a werewolf who didn't have control of herself. She had not taken her wolfsbane potion as she was out of ingredients.

-I take the stand and fidget clearly nervous- Well... this is slightly awkward -I chuckle nervously but stop when no one else laughs-

Anywho... Yeah well... Phoenix is great gal, and so is Amaya. Sure she's got a few screws loose, and by a few I mean a hardware store worth, but anyway, she just had a shitty upbringing and is tryin' to fit in.

-Cayden nodded, waving Meredia up, who felt bad for using her innocence in this. She spoke quietly, running a hand through her brown hair, her pale eyes widening to make her seem younger-

'Phoenix...she's the nicest girl I've ever had the pleasure of saying I'm friends with. She knows she isn't perfect, and that's what makes her more amazing. She accepts that she is who she is, and i'd do anything to be more like her, to be happy with myself.' -She stopped, moving on to her sister-

'Amaya's always looked out for me, i couldn't have asked for a more caring sister, but putting her in Azkaban? that's not going to help her, that's going to make her even more of a monster. She deserves to be with her family, not in hell.' -Mer sighed and sat back down-

Phoenix is my girlfriend. I love her and she couldn't control herself those two times. Not to mention, she's done the Ministry a service. She exposed the man who stole the notes to the Strayer experiment, Project Sound.

As for Amaya, I've seen her love for her sisters is true. She will improve as a person with them.

Let her out... let them both out.... -I say ALMOST demandingly-

-Bryn nodded in approval, gently moving Eugene to the side as he spoke calmly-

'I believe my family has said all they need to say on this matter, except my sister Sydnay. Yes, she's a known Death Eater, but the fact she'd walk into the Ministry and defend her a sister shows something, doesnt it? It shows that Amaya must be a good person, if Sydnay would risk her freedom for her.' -He perched on a seat next to Meredia, expression unreadable-

-Cayden declared loudly- Has the defence finished?

here comes the bitchy part!

-Cayden nodded and turned her attention to the other side if the room, many of the aurors in the stands had their eyes narrowed in disgust, but some were ordinairy aurors, like Jones. One stood up first, a young woman with long blonde hair-

'Amaya Desouza should never have left Azkaban the first time. Ever since she was let free she has caused countless of people harm, and has invaded the Ministry twice. She even has her own company, which dictates that pureblood wizards should die.'

-This woman was just stating the facts, and sat down again-

Jones can't contain her glare at her colleagues, but she stays quiet.

Objection! She inherited that company and has made no strides to further it's goals ever since!

And that one was a NICE one...she just thinks Amaya and Phoenix are murderers, and should stay in Azkaban.

-Cayden allowed this objection- This is your only objection Strayer until I open up the court.

-One of the aurors stood up- She's been working with Darcy Hawkeye! I can confirm it myself! they want purebloods dead!

-Mer tensed, but she wasn't angry, not yet-

"Hawkeye?" Jones can't help it. "Who's he? And where's your evidence?"

Another auror rose- And Mr. Noir here has quite the colorful history don't you? Known association with convicted criminal Chezhekov, numerous charges of larceny and underaged gambling, among the other laundry list of other offenses!

Topher: HEY! I ain't the one on trial here!!!

Auror: He smirks at his colleague and stands. "I happen to know the parents of Miss Flame's first murder. While her name was cleared for that particular offense, it still stands that she killed the son of one of my friends."

Jones: "OBJECTION! Whether the defendant is a person or not DOES NOT affect the case!"

Eugene: -I glare at the auror furiously but stay seated-

Artemis: OBJECTION! The jury isn't supposed to have prior connection to the victims!
