Ministry of Magic (British)

She aparates outside the Ministry of Magic then enters. She walks into the vast building. Rhiannon stops to look at it for a moment, it was huge, and quite beautiful. But she knew that was only looks, the Ministry was old and rotten, and needed replacing. That was what she was here for. She walks up to the help desk and smiles, "Hello, sir. Could you lend me a hand? I'm looking for the offices of the Daily Prophet." She smiles winningly.

"Right this way please," the official responded, guiding her down the hallway towards the Prophet office. "I am guessing you are here for the interview today then? Rhiannon Yaxley, right?"

She smiles, "Yes, that's me." They reach the door and she continues smiling. Fantastic, face cramp by the end of the day... "Thank you, sir."

'Not a problem, Miss," he opened the door for her, allowing her in. Four faces turned to peer at her - the Prophet Interview Board, consisting of the Editor, Vice Editor, Head Reporter, and the Manager.
"Sit down, Miss Yaxley."

ic, She smiles and nods to them, seating herself at the table. "Yes, hello, thank you for having me."

The Manager pulled out a sheet of paper, lowering his glasses to read it. "Mr Lucius Malfoy recommended you quite highly," he looked back at Rhiannon, "Even though you're only young. You must be quite extraordinary. How long have you wanted to be a journalist?"

She composes her face, and smiles. "For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to work for the Prophet, you as well have been recommended quite highly. My dream is to work here, I'm a good student." She brings out a report with perfect marks. It was her cousins friends that she had bewitched to read "Rhiannon Yaxley". It looked completely genuine.

The four interviewers exchange glances, the Editor and vice editor nodded rather firmly but the Head Reporter still looked dubious. "Where do you hope to work in the Prophet, Rhiannon?"

"I hope to work in the editing department, sir." She smiles prettily at the editors.

"I see great promise in you, Rhiannon," The Editor said, smiling back at the girl, and the Vice Editor grinned along with her. The Head Reporter grunted, finally accepting the girl. The Manager nodded.
"I see promise in you too. We shall send out your results soon. Thank you, Rhiannon."

She stood and looked at each in turn. "Thank you so much, you are all magnificent wizards, many would turn me down because of my age, but you are remarkable, thank you so much, you have no idea how much this means to me."

The Interviewers nodded to her and the Ministry official from before escorted her out.

Rhiannon walks into the offices of the Daily Prophet with a smile on her face. She looked charming and classy. Her hair was tied back into a ponytail and her golden brown eyes twinkled. Inside she felt bored and tired and just wanted to get this over and done with. She looked around for Crouch's man and sighed realising she had no clue what he looked like.

-From across the room you hear someone talk to Mr. Thurkell, Crouch's man on the inside-

She hears the familiar name and it jogs her memory. This must be the man. She walks over to the two men and smiles then faces Thurkell. "Mr. Thurkell, my name is Rhiannon Yaxley, a pleasure to meet you."

"I am." She looks at the other man, smiling awkwardly, then turns back to Thurkell, "I'd like to have a little talk with you, alone... If you don't mind?" She smiles.

She leans against the desk. "Mr... Um," I feel so stupid... "Smiley sent me." She looks up at him, "That mean anything to you?"

"He just thought you could help me is all." She straightens up and watches him, "Why did you react like that? How do you two know each other?"

Well Mr. Smiley has been giving me good money for a while, and I'd heard that he was killed in Ireland... seems that isn't true.

She smiles prettily and leans back against the desk. "I am indeed." She raises an eyebrow. "Will you help me?"
