'no, my attempts at helping you are weak.' he corrected the boy, staring at the floor. 'id never insult you.'

I could never understand why he'd waste his efforts to help me. He should be devoting his work towards my destruction. That's what enemies do. They don't help each other they fight. This doesn't make sense. The cycle of betray and retribution can't be interrupted.

But I don't make these thoughts known, keeping up my act.

'something on your mind?' he inquired, curious.

"No... Nothing."

'Come on, there's always something on everyone's minds.' he goaded, now even more curious.

"Maybe there is, but some people prefer to have their secrets."

'Does my demeanour bother you then? i don't usually hold secrets..'

EVERYTHING about you bothers me. It stands against everything, on every level, that I belief.

'you brought me back.' he countered, chuckling. 'Im not going to be a martyr this time either, Im more valuable alive. i could end up with anyone as my opposition.'

he decide to leave out his seer abilities, but apart from that crouch had every advantage.

"Well you need not fear me as an enemy this time." THIS time.

'i know.' he smiled at the boy, but it was strained.'but i fear for Lukas and his enemy. he's been worried for weeks'

Lukas HAS enemies? Why has he not told me?

"You don't say..."

'he's not exactly.. in the good books off other kitsune at the moment.' he added carefully, taking a seat on the floor and bringing his knees cautiously to his chin.

That could prove problematic.

"I see... that's unfortunate for him."

'Im sure he needs your help, he's just too proud to admit it. ' he declared, shrugging.

"Now, about how strong are these kitsune?"

'its not something i know of, but i doubt Lukas would be worried if they were weaker than him..'

I smell opportunity... For either disaster or profit.

"Why don't I handle this mess? You've done more than your share."

'its not my business anyway.' he shrugged, tapping a finger on his chin. 'talk to Lukas if you want though'
