Ivan smirked quietly, remaining where he stood, lifting the bottle to his lips and taking a deep drink.
Lowering it, swallowing quietly, he gave a sweet smile to Donia.

"You never know. What, with world like it is, da? Kolkolkolkolkol~"

A pause, he offered her the bottle.
"Want a drink?"

The Russian watched intently as she took a drink.
However, at her reaction, he took it back and gave a loud, greatly amused laugh, exclaiming heartily in Russian,
"Ой, как смешно!"

He gave her a small, yet firm, pat on the shoulder and chuckled.

"Da, da, take it easy. Just Vodka, ahaha~"

Greatly amused by the girl's reaction, and her flushed cheeks, the Russian again took a deep drink from his bottle and winked to Donia.

"Do not feel embarrassed, da? Kolkolkol, Vodka just not your taste?"

Nodding his blonde head, Ivan lifted the bottle with a reasonably amused grin on his sweet, chubby Russian face.

"I am Russian, da! It is like water for us!"

The Russian raised a brow in confusion, looking surprised.

Nothing of the sort?
Goodness! How can they not drink Vodka as much as Ivan did?
All the same, he handed her the bottle, purply-blue eyes twinkling with amusement.

"I do not understand how people do not drink Vodka all so much.."

Ivan waited as patiently as he could for the bottle, and then grabbed it back, chugging the remainder of it with a hungry, almost greedy gulp.

He let the bottle fall to his side, and he exhaled with a chuckle.

"Da, da. Perhaps that is what makes so many insignificant?"

Well, perhaps he was being so.
Of course, no one ever pointed it out. People were usually too scared of him to do so.

"Well,"
He quickly recovered,

His nervousness didn't seem to affect her, her own mind was deciding to wander off into pure instinct.

'And that is what makes it so appealing to me.' the words left her lips before she had time to consider them, thoughts flagging behind uselessly as she brought herself ever closer.

Ivan had only felt so anxious once, and that had been with his creepy little sister, Belarus.

However, he was feeling utterly helpless right now.
His spine stiffened, and he pursed his lips, looking at the girl with wide eyes.
His cheeks were red, unable to keep from this accursed blush.

Ivan couldn't even let the compliments sink in before his lips were pressed to Donia's.

Impossible! No one liked Ivan!
And Ivan didn't like anyone else!
But still, she was... charming. A very interesting woman.

And now she was kissing him.
So to say, Ivan enjoyed it.

Donia paused, mind finally catching up with her actions. She broke away almost immediately, almost as surprised as he was. 'I-uhm..' she stammered too, simply waiting for him to speak. In that moment the girl simply looked startled.

The Russian remained stiff, as if suddenly turned to a statue, before raising fingers to touch his lips.

His heart was racing, strangely.

Yes, he did feel the same way.


Gently, he put a hand on her shoulder and kissed her back, almost shyly.
His empty vodka bottle toppled to the ground.

All of the air escaped he body, her lungs practically deflated in that instant. Even the sound of splintering glass didn't deter the odd sensation of relief she received from his actions.

Her arms found his neck, winding their way around it carefully, gently.

'mmph.' it was the only sound she made, not a protest in any way.

Ivan tried not to smile against the kiss, pulling her closer to him, deepening the kiss slightly.

How wonderful this silly girl was!
