"Where are we going to go?"

"hmmm... have you any place to stay?"

"Nope!"

"You know, you could stay with my family for a time until you find a place..." He offered generously.

"Really?  You're not scared I'd burn it down?"

Artemis chuckled and light heartedly joked, "Well the place is made of stone..."

Gerard smiles. "Good."

"Oh I guess we never got introduced, I'm Sound..." he held out a hand to him. Ever since Raven's betrayal and at Crest's continual insistence, he's made more of a point to use his alias.

"Gerard." He shakes his hand, happy to meet one of the few nice people that live on this planet.

"Pleasure to meet you Gerard! Here take my hand, I'll take you to my home..."

He apparates them to Honora Castellum...

However it seemed Artemis had missed one man who had fled the town as the chaos started. A man who had witnessed the obliteration of his home and the rampant destruction in his town, but not the magic used to save it...

What he had seen horrified him. A man who could use fire like some sort of demon...
How could that be possible...
Were there more like him?

... Could people afford to find out?

"LISTEN TO ME PEOPLE! THERE IS A TERRIBLE SCOURGE SWEEPING OUR WORLD! WE MUST ACT QUICKLY!!!" shouted a tall lanky man at the corner of a street. He prayed even a couple people would look at him, and not pass him off as crazy...

But sadly, it seemed everyone was doing exactly that. It left poor Simeon feeling discouraged by the lack of people heeding his warning, but he needed to be heard.

And he would be heard.

One man, however, stayed, staring at the 'crazy' man.  Jack wondered what had happened here.

"Friend," His voice was a frantic pleading, "please tell me you're not like the close minded people that surround me..." He had a desperation in his eyes, as though this man was but his only hope...

"Oh, I'm far from close-minded, my boy..."

A deep relief flooded his body as he became visibly relaxed, "Oh thank you very much! I don't know if you're a local here, but recently this town was attacked by evil magics!" This incident shook poor Simeon to the core. "I was one of many who lost a home to these evil magics but I am the only one with any recollection oddly enough. It's as though a horrid spell has been cast on us!"

"What magic was cast?"

"I saw a man cast fire on the buildings, shooting flames from his hands like the devil..." Panic seeped into the man's expression, recalling the horrid event that had so marred him.

"Isn't that the most evil magic you've ever heard of?"

"Oh, there's far more evil in the world, boy..." Jack thinks of Crouch and Raven and all the other people like them.  They use magic worse than the lost control of a pyrokinetic.

Horror drained Simeon of any other feeling, "You know of more evil that magic can do?" Could there be found a comrade in this man?

"Oh yes... I've seen it.  But you don't need to worry about it..."

"But of course I do! If normal people like you and I stand by and do nothing against this terrible threat, men who can... oh I don't know, move cities with their minds or sending lightning at people for fun will run rampant!"

"Please, join my Magic Inquisitorial League and help me spread awareness of this plague!"

Jack starts laughing insanely.  "Oh, you think I'm normal? There's a first!!" His true insanity is starting to show a little bit.

The man backed up a little, "Well you seem normal, you don't have magic do you?"
