Mountainous Estate

I wasnt going to lie, I wa terrifued about this. It was a bad idea...but it was far to late to back out.

Although in-tuned with the great power in himself, this energy was completely different. It felt as if life itself was altering before him. All his rage and hatred, it was twiddling like water out of a slow faucet. 

Every muscle and tendon relaxed, the fire under his skin quelling. Soon, the thoughts that had given him the greatest comforts were now phantom nightmares that lingered in his subconscious.

While under his skin cooled, the rest of him felt ablazed. He felt on the verge of sweating and yet the drip refused to precipitate. It was nearly maddening, this desperate struggle to satisfy heat and cold.  

But in the end, cold won out...

He watched the product of his illusion overwhelm Crouch, keen eyes observing the rage that constantly plagued him feebly dwindle to a tiny spark. He could not imagine what the effect would be on River. Muscles slumping, he remained on the floor with a shaky breath, the tendrils of his magic creeping back to his body.

'You may let go, when you're ready.' He prepared to let River free from her cell.

I shivered, feeling cold, before my vision narrowed to perfect points. I drop Crouch's hand and stand up, brushing the dust of my jeans. And slowly, my mouth tilts up into  a smile

He let go of his sisters hand and stared at his own hands as though they were completely foreign to him.

OOC Question, do they retain the same memories as their lives have been or is it like a memory swap?

ooc i was thinking that and I think no. Like, t would be much more interesting if they thought they had always been like that.

ooc i just thought they'd see their previous actions differently. Like, Crouch would berate himself for becoming a DE, and River would wonder why she hadn't made more chaos before now.

Your choice, though. I assumed they'd remember everything that happened to them, but in a different perspective.

ic Lukas watched them both eagerly, the door groaning as he released River from her cell. 'How're you both feeling?'

OOC Okay, just wanted to be sure I was doing this right!

"I feel... like.." He pulled up his left sleeve to look at his dark mark, a mark he had once felt such pride and worship over, but now it was a shackle on his arm. "Like I'm trapped."

'I feel...' I let out a breath, stepping out of the room. 'Free. Powerful. Good.'

He offered them both a bright smile. 'Good! now go forth and spread some chaos.' He declared grandiosely, grinning.

"No." Crouch demanded. "There's been enough of that at my hands. It can't go on."

I laugh. 'Chaos hasnt even begun.'

Sweat slicked his forehead as he struggled to his feet, reaching for the door of River's cell and letting the newly christened sibling free. 'You can both go, I'm gonna sit here for a while...' 

The kitsune sank to his knees, wheezing but not entirely beaten. 
it's been a long time since i've performed something like this.

He ran to the door and outstretched his arms, "No, you're not going anywhere River.."

I stare at crouch, walking towards him. ' just try and stop me.'

ooc Lukas is basically out of comission, he will take no part in this!

OOC Okay! Thanks for that!  Want anyone else of my merry crew?

"You and I both know that I can. Maybe you remember that one fight where you beat me. And that was without any forbidden spells."

'Yes. I beat you. Makes no difference if you want to be nice about it. I beat you crouch. And I will now as well.'

ic He watched the siblings fight with mild interest, seating himself in the corner of the room, too exhausted to contribute anything but a weak grimace.

"You can try..." He pulled out his own wand.

I laugh, pushing him out the way

"Stupefy!"

I dodge, spinning around with my wand in my hand, a green je of light shooting ut of it

He went behind a wall and reemerged bravely to send more stunning spells her way. He wouldn't ever stoop to killing ever again.

'Is that the best you have, brother?' I laugh, deflecting them.
