"Oh please... if they do, that'll just make them exposed and easier to kill..."

I shake m head. 'Ok...'

"Fear not my sibling... soon they'll be in the graves and life can at last be peaceful..."

'I dont fear them, rouch.'

"Glad to hear... I've felt like there's a huge change under way recently..."

'What change?'

"I don't know... it's like someone is throwing a stone in the lake of all transpiring here..."

"And it's not me for a change..."

'Your talking in riddes.'

"Maybe it's nothing... I just can just feel something coming..."

'But is this something coming bad for you, or bad for....everyone ese?'

"I couldn't tell you one way or another..."

Whenever Topher gives Crouch the note:

Crouch,


I am in desperate need of your help.  Under the worst circumstances, I have been enslaved to the Death Eater Archibald Prince.  Don't kill Topher.  He tried to help me, and I sent him to get you.

The writing is sloppy, as if written in a hurry.

Topher knocks on the door and braces himself for the worst, were it anything less than Raven's debt he wouldn't be here.

Crouch opens the door, smiling crazily upon seeing Topher, "Wow, a willing victim, life has it's moments!" He readies his wand to strike him down but then Topher quickly hands out the note.

"IT'S FROM RAVEN!!"

Crouch reads the note as Topher hands it out to him, "Why is it when a free victim appears before me business has to come up?" Crouch of course was worried about his friend, and got his wand.

Topher followed him, "I'm goin' with you!"

"Fine, but if you get killed in the crossfire, it's not my fault!" Crouch smirked at him fiendishly as the both disapparated away.

A rather aggressive owl beat itself against the windows, a note tied to its foot.

OOC The owl sings, "Do you want to build a snowman!!!"

Crouch opened the window, "I didn't expect notes from anyone.." He opened the message to see what this owl had to deliver to him.

The owl flew away back to its owner.

Crouch,
I have yielded to the urge to update you on my progress. I have returned to Hogwarts and have... dispatched the Desouzas, for now.
I realise you have not shown your face here for a while but if required, I will offer my assistance. I am playing a careful game.

Crouch's gut feeling was right. The tides WERE changing. And they seem to be changing for the better...

The owl came haring back, dropping another note. The spacing on the parchment was odd, like it'd been written in a rush.

Crouch,
I would not be so confident so soon, i'm putting 9 months of my work at risk simply by being present at Hogwarts. But, alas, I must keep up appearances for some. Just be aware that I am unable to communicate with you should you return. I am sure I'm being followed.
