Indy looked out of the plane on the left side, seeing a sandstorm the magnitude and movements of which he had never seen before. In fact, it was impossibly coordinated and strong.
That could only mean one thing, his powers were nearly full. They had to hurry.

He arrived at Hamunaptra and headed inside the tomb to rally up an army of dead priests. There was no way the stupid American would get by this time.

Landing on one of the few smooth parts of the land, Indy takes out the key and the book of amun-ra.
He had only one chance at this and he knew exactly where the creature would be. He would go to the sacrificial altar to try and rise up his dead love.
Indy got his gun and whip ready so the second he was mortal again, he could kill him.

Soon Indy got the book open but heard a weird thumping sound, like.. a march. But the marching ones didn't have one boots or any sort of shoe. It was almost as though light rocks were stepping. As he turned around he had his answer as to what was the source..
Resurrected mummys.
