Crouch took out a quill and a sheet of parchment, "Let's fix that then..."

'What are you doing?'

"Writing to Death, telling him to come here!"

"Of course he will...." 

'Dear Death, please come to Mungos. You need to talk to River... please hurry!"

He rushed into River's room after receiving Crouch's letter. "What's happened? Is she okay?"

"She needs to talk to you... to help get everything right..." Crouch hide his previous deception to portray himself in a positive light.

I look at death briefly before looking at the floor. 'Hi?'

He felt his hopes drop and rise at the same time. It was great that something bad hadn't happened, but he was saddened that she still didn't remember him. "Um, where do you want me to begin?"

OOC sorry, in the car and signal keeps going in and out.

"Just tell her some of the things you did together..." He whispered to him, "Just leave out any stuff involving me..."

I frown. 'Why dont you want me to know about you?'

"You and your brother don't exactly have a...pleasant history." He sighed and moved closer to her. "Um, like I said, we've been married for a year now." He sighed and started from the beginning, how they met, what they did, their good and bad times, everything.

OOC I literally can't recall anything sooner than their wedding. I know, my memory's shit.

ooc  they always knew each other- through crouch- but didnt get on for ages until they desided it was easier not to fight. thus, got together. Yes, i reemmber pointless stuff that far back.

'Why dont I remember?' I cry. 'I want to. i do. but i cant!'

"Something may be blocking the memory..." Crouch offered as a suggestion.

"Like what, medical genius?" he asked sarcastically of Crouch. He was just so fed up at this point. He was hurt and pissed. "She doesn't remember me but she remembers part of you. Why is that?"

"I don't know Death, I only stumbled upon this recently!"

"Well my telling her the story of our life together didn't seem to make anything clearer to her." He threw his hands up and let them slap his legs on the way down. "What now? The healers don't even know what to do."

'Actually...there might be something.' Rosie stepped into the room, biting her lip, worried.

'Speak woman!" Crouch demanded.

"Crouch, please, manners." He looked over at the healer. "What is it?"

'Firstly...Is there any time when Rivers mind has been tampered with? Memory loss...its noramlly not as bad as this. You forget hours, sometimes days, but never your whole life. I was researching it, and I found that apparently previous trauma can make it worse.'

"Yes.... our father wiped her mind as a child once..." The memory of that day, the day when Barty lost his only chance to NOT become Crouch edged into his mind like a cave painting in his brain.

"She's lost portions of her memory from time to time since then."
