| 'Me too, i'm meant to be the keeper...' she snorted, rolling her eyes. 'Guess they'll have to find someone else.' I'm not returning for a crappy sports match... in all honesty, Amaya was partially too stubborn to go back. | |

| She scowled at him, face becoming a mask of plain unamusement. 'No, i'll be a laughing stock, and everyone will stare and ask questions.' i need my space.. | |

| ooc now would be a good time to make her shut up >_>
ic She paused, searching for an excuse to retort at him with, knowing that gossip spread faster than shit on a shovel at Hogwarts. Amaya was practically refusing to go back, even in her hostile movements. 'but...'

| I put one finger on her lips, "Shhshshshshsh...."
I speak gently to her, "if anyone has a problem with you back, they can take it up with me."

| 'Fine.' she declared with half the anger she'd hoped to possess, a reluctant sigh escaping her lips instead. 'But afterwards, i'm coming straight back to the bar, then i'm gone.' | |

| Descole had left the Ministry borders for now, picking his way to a small playground.
He wasn't sure why. Perhaps because it was familiar to him from his childhood. After all, the best memories were from his childhood. Most of them, anyway.
He felt like a fool, standing and looking over the empty playground. Yes, it reminded him greatly of his childhood.
A weak smile formed over his face before vanishing, like a ghost. No, there was nothing for him here. Not now. And anyway, there had to be some deatheater somewhere to get his mind off these sentimental thoughts.

| "Well... it would seem the Ministry has thrived quite nicely if it's top aurors are allowed to spend time on a playground."
I step past the gates and inside. My entire face was like a misshapen bowling ball, completely bald at the round, sizable cranium and as narrow as a a bird's beak at the chin area. The beard I had was gray and hardly visible in dim lighting such as this but it added length to my face regardless.
The most striking feature of all, was my eyes. Eyes of a blue that even the sky and sea could envy together. If the color wasn't enough to make them stand out, the 8 pointed star that made up my pupils was enough to turn heads for a second glance. A glance that might very well be their last.
My stance was elegant, light almost, as if the entire ground I walked on were a thin paper I was trying not to tear.
"Good evening, Jean... it's been some time has it not?"

| (( That opening sentence. Sass. ))
Descole's head snapped up at the strangely familiar voice.
Instantly, stormy silver eyes hidden by an enchanted mask locked on the unearthly blue ones. He avoided the gaze quickly, looking anywhere but those accursed gaze.
"Oh, it has been quite a while. I supposed you were dead...... but of course, it's never that easy..."

| "Yes, sadly for thou, luck is a far more powerful agent than thou or the rest of the Ministry will ever know."
"Thou COULD'VE known, had thee all followed my vision."

| The Auror collected himself quietly, becoming emotionless, with an air of command and power about him.
"Listen to you. I understand you're old, but honestly... 'thou'..?"
A cold chuckle sounded from the auror, though he remained treading lightly. He knew this man's powers, and he did not wish to anger him. A hand moved calmly to his belt, to the hilt of his sword.
"What business do you have here..? You were meant to be put away forever. Sent away, dead, or too weak to again rise...."

| "Perhaps min speech comes off peculiarly to thou? I suppose tis to be expected, given it's abnormality. But I have min reasons."
"I've come to bring thou joyous tidings. Tidings I wish spread to all corners of this cesspool of a society."
"For at last another one has been found, and his eyes are but now flourishing. Perhaps thou know he?"

| Realization hit Jean Descole, and the Auror forced himself not to take in a deep breath of understanding. He would not give away his nervousness. He would not show weakness.
His grip in the hilt of his sword tightened as he gently pulled out the weapon, the metal sliding against the sheath in an audible, familiar and almost calming sound.
"I have dealt with another like you, yes. But for now we stand even. He is not like you, cursed man..."

| A snarl broke from Descole's lips, impatience flashing over his expression.
"I know people better than even you do, vile being! I have changed, much for the better...."
His snarl quivered a bit, and he shook his head, shoulders quivering a little. "Leave, now...."

| "My, my..."
"It seems thou art no longer the firebrand I used to know. I suppose times do change, even if luck remains the most stable power on the planet."
"And as for the boy, he SHALL join mine forces. Fairly soon actually."

| An angry swish of his sword, Descole turned his back to the man, shuddering slightly.
"Watch your back, old friend... . I will leave you this once.... but if you even dare... lay a hand on... anyone. Any living, breathing, innocent being.... I will relish in ripping out those demonic eyes of yours."
And with that, the Auror walked away. The ministry would be warned.
(( I'm sorry, I need to sleep. ;w; Goodnight ))

With a snap I disappear into the nothingness.

| (( I'm sorry, but I must return here. Because reasons this place is lovely. ))
Children. Oh, goody, goody, what joy..
It was late, dark, chilly, yet surprisingly busy at the playground this night. The children, the youngest probably being about five years of age, were running about, swinging, laughing, sliding, rolling, playing... All in all, happy. Having Fun. Making Memories. Being Hopeful. Wondering. And Dreaming.
Glistening, predatory golden eyes narrowed in the dark shadows of a tree. The being within the darkness could see a gap in one of the children's grins- Tooth must have visited them..
If it hadn't been for his job, Pitch's stomach would have been growling. He would probably be retching, throwing up, perhaps even dead. Yet his deathly state, and skinny form did not betray him in such a way. Instead, he leaned weakly against the trunk of the mighty tree, and watched.
Until finally, little eyes grew curious and they found their way to where he was. The Boogeyman had his chance.
The shadows seemed to stretch toward the child, and his grey eyes widened in surprise. Screams and shouts of what used to be joy vanished, then melted into screams of fear. The Nightmare King already felt stronger; in a sense. The older children, the eldest probably being about eleven, looked the direction of the other, who was frozen by his panic.
Instantly, they all seemed terrified.
"Be afraid..." The voice from the Boogeyman rasped, silky and seducing, "Your fear is delicious..."
(( aug and not sure how long I'll have left here, but I'll try ))

| London is impressively stocked with ingredients for medicines. I'll have to take more trips there.
As I pass a playground with supplies in hand I notice a very strange creature the likes of which I had never seen before. The likes of which I never wanted to see before.
I back up several feet not knowing what this thing was.

| The children had fled, the shadows playing in jubilant amusement at their fear.
Pitch stepped out quietly from the darkness of the tree, took in a deep breath through his hooked nose- and turned his face to Eugene.
The children had only bothered on the darkness, focussing on the shadows rather than the man. But this one.. This full grown one saw him.
A cruel smile grew over the man's face. " Oh, hello.."
