OOC To the Hospital Wing!

The girl crept inside, pushing her curly ringlets out of her face as she planted herself at the end of the slytherin table. She seemed exhausted, but was clearly trying to cover it up. Ignoring her surroundings, she piled food on her plate with no regard to what it actually was.

I'm laying on the bench of the Slytherin table, just staring up into space, thinking about my recent encounter with Matthew.

She decided to spare a glance at a person sat next to her, before realising she was only greeted with a pair of feet. 'Oh, hey jack.' she mumbled, shovelling food into her mouth.

I lift my head up and see Amaya, sitting up slowly after, "Hey Amaya..."

'What's up with you?' she offered him another sideways look, still eating.

"Nothing really... I just had an encounter with some preacher..."

'Lemme guess, Matthew? that guy that wears half a kilo of iron crosses around his neck?'

I smirk, "That's the one!"

'What did he want with you?' she blinked, scoffing to herself. 'Try to convert ya?'

"I was torturing some students and he was trying to stop me... And then tried to convert me."

'Okay, i agree with the first bit.' she nodded, 'But that kid has seriously gotta stop pushing people into the direction of 'the Lord', it's getting really annoying.'

"Yes, not everyone has to believe in this "god" he loves so much..."

'Fair enough if you believe it i guess.' she shrugged, chewing on more food.
'What do you believe anyway? Is there some guy or girl on a fluffy cloud watching over us?'

I shrug, "It's possible, but I don't believe so."

I laugh, "How on earth could an imaginary being make me feel better? Besides, if there really has been some imaginary being up in the sky looking down on us, it really doesn't care about me."

'Perhaps you don't need someone in the sky looking out for ya, you got people here. You got me at the very least, then there's Sally, Sam, Eugene..'

"Yes... I suppose so..." But why would they want me of all people?

'Why not? we all got flaws Jack.'

I smirk, "I don't even know if that's possible for me..."

'It's gotta be, you can't keep getting down your whole life, there's hope somewhere.'

"I'm sure there is... But I'm not feeling it now."
