'Go on then Jack, kill him, Stoop to his level and have your family never forgive you!' Mer called out to him, before breaking into another fit of tears.

I look over and glare at Meredia, "DON'T YOU GET IT?? HOW is it stooping to their level?? Sure, we're taking a life, but that's ONE LESS BASTARD in the world!! HOW can you NOT take this chance?!"

I shake my head, madness taking over; engulfing me in it's infinite darkness. "Just wait until you get over this... You'll wish he was dead... Ha... Haha..." I start laughing insanely; all this violence I was apart of has affected me greatly.

I just fall to my knees, laughing. "Well, she's not here at the moment, so we can't know, can we?"

It's like an insanity attack; I can't think rationally AT ALL right now. "You're too soft, Meredia... Much too soft..."

'Yet I'm still standing.' her incorruptability had probably saved her life. Her purity had kept her shield thriving, but still it hadn't been enough to save the rest of her family...

Tears slid down her cheeks again, anguish growing in the pit of her stomach.

"The soft and sappy ones are always the lucky ones, aren't they?" I laugh, almost looking as if I'm in another world. "Sometime's there's a point where killing is all right... You want less monsters like him in the world, don't you?" I point to Crouch, drunk off insanity.

"People die every day! It's part of life!!" Insanity, darkness, and science... They were my only friends throughout a majority of my life. Now one of the true friends I had just made is dead because of the bastard who hurt my wife.

My eyes widen and I stop laughing, my fingertips brushing the place where I was just slapped. I slowly look over at Meredia, who is crouching beside a limp and lifeless Amaya. I go over and join her, not saying a word. Amaya... One of the only people who could understand me...

"I did too..." I whisper quietly, just staring down at Amaya, one of the few friends I've had in this life.

It's hard for me to even think at the time; it's almost like I'm not even really there, just lost in thought in my mind. Mind... Madness...

IC I walk out, my eyes watering at the sight of so much injury and death. Noticing Meredia, I gracefully and gently kneel next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Oh dear... I'm so sorry..."

Instinctively, I wrap my arms gently around Meredia in a comforting and empathetic and loving hug, "I can only imagine how you feel... No one should have to go through this... "

"Which is one of the most tragic things that could happen to a person... Especially a sweet girl like you." I brush a hand through her hair like I would to one of my children, wanting to help this girl in any way I can.
