'An eye for an eye.' he spoke quietly, afraid to intrude onto this conversation. Axel's eyes caught a movement, peering down to see a hand stirring.

It twitched again, and again. Either one of them was alive, or their nerves hadn't collapsed yet...

Death, who had stared at the scene just as shocked as everyone around him, finally broke out of it. He raised his wand at Eugene and spoke softly. "I wouldn't do that if I were you."

IC He lowered his wand slightly. "I'm not going to make the first move. If Eugene kills Crouch, I'll kill Eugene and anyone that gets in my way." He looked around at the crowd of people.

I glare down at Crouch angrily, but then start to laugh, despite my wounds from battle. The laugh grows more insane by the second. "Why shouldn't we kill the bastard?! It'll make everyone's lives easier, don't you think?" That mad thrill is in my eyes, painting my face with an infinite insanity. "Now's our chance to end him..." I start to focus my mind on Crouch.

His words just make me laugh more, but my focus on Crouch's body is lost. "Fool, do you even KNOW all he's done to people?" I look to the Flame twins, "I'm pretty sure you two do... What's the harm in killing him? He did kill your friends after all..." And one of my friends... The bastard...

Axel was about to protest, but there was a sharp cough from behind him, making him jump forwards with surprise. The person lifted their head, revealing wide, fawnlike grey eyes.

'Did... I do it? I-I saved my family?' her voice was cracking and hoarse, tongue stuck to the roof of her mouth. Blood trickled from her pale lips, hair matted to her skin in odd clumps.

Phoenix: I tear myself out of Pixie's grip and rush over to her side. "Shit, she's alive... alive..." I feel tears trickling down my cheeks again, but I brush them away impatiently.

He took a step back away from the group. There was no point in him being there anymore. He had lost.

He continued backing away from the group, hoping that he would leave without them noticing his exit.

'Let him go.' Axel instructed, but his attention was on the shaking girl, her eyes darting uselessly at the scene.

'Tell me! tell me i did it, that i saved my family, please!' her voice squeaked at the end, she could hardly speak. She attempted to climb to her feet, but her knees collapsed and she faceplanted the floor again.
