Crouch's Redemption (RP)

Cynder put a gentle hand on Topher's shoulder and gave a kind smile.

"It's okay, Toph. He's changed... I'm glad you're okay. I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner to help..."

Topher: "Hey, no problem... just glad someone was there..." I chuckle a bit before stopping, "Well I oughta split. Bye!" I start walking away.

Crouch: "Thanks? THAT'S what I get out of it?"

Cynder eyed Crouch quietly.

"Crouch, hush. It's fine."

She turned her head slightly to glance at Topher.

"Toph, if you don't mind me asking, what happened that got you in the water like that?"

"Well I was just a little too loud in my back talkin' against them..." I shrug nonchalantly.

The girl nodded quietly, before smiling to Topher.

"... okay... You be careful, though, okay? Can't afford to loose yah.."

Her gaze shifted over to Crouch, to whom she gave an approving nod.

As topher walks away he looks at Crouch again as though reprising him.

Crouch: I watch him leave, I scoff.

"It feels good, doesn't it?"

Cynder gave a smug smirk, walking toward Crouch with crossed arms.

"Saving a life, I mean- doing something good."

"Okay... let me put it this way. See the charred marks of the death eaters?" I point at the ground.

"And see that idiot walking away?" I gesture to Topher.

"I'm more proud of the charred marks."

Cynder gave a gentle chuckle, shaking her head.

"Come on, Crouch. You can be honest with me, I won't make fun of you- let alone tell anyone."

OOC Cyn, that literally made me keel over in laughter... my stomach now hurts from how hard I'm laughing.
