-Crazy Grin- "Why, the only reason. Revenge."

"But let's not get into personal details. I was wondering, if you would consider your performance there as... an audition for a job?"

She looked intrestedly at him "what kind of job?"

"Rather than taking something, I want something planted..."

Her eyes seemed to spark with excitement "you've got my attention.. what do you want done?"

"Oh I just want you to plant some evidence on the Strayers. I assure you, you shall be well rewarded for your troubles..."

Jinx pondered for a moment in silence mulling over the idea intensely "I like the Strayers for the most part... but I don't think I've ever passed up a job.." she talking more the herself than anything looking incredibly torn.

"People come and people go, profit doesn't."

I sit curled into a tight ball, as if by doing so I can hold what little calmness I have left together. I can't help but feel stupid for everything I've done... it's done nothing but cause trouble.

Reaching down by my foot, I pick up a pebble and throw it into the lake in an attempt to distract myself from my thoughts.

Sat on the grass by the lake, Lethe was flicking through a small potions book, a frown on her face.

I'm strolling through the lake, the normal grin on my face. I notice someone else, and walk right behind her, my mouth right next to her ear. "Well hello there!"

The girl stiffened, snapping the book shut and spinning around. 'Who the hell are you?'

I laugh insanely, "I am Jack Nuel... And you are?"

'Lethe.' The girl said shortly, reaching up and tying her hair up, not taking her eyes off him.

I smirk, the insanity clearly showing in my face. "A pleasure to meet you, Lethe..."

'I would say the same but it might be lying.'

I laugh again, "That's quite all right, no one ever really enjoys to meet me..."

She rolls her eyes. 'You dont get on with Junior by any chance, do you?'

My face turns a bit more serious at the mention of that bastards name. "No, acutally, if it weren't for my wife, I would've killed him..."

She tilts her head to the side, suddenly interested. 'Really? how come?'

"He kidnapped my wife for a time and keeps hurting my daughters... Who wouldn't want to kill him?" I snarl, "I almost killed him... But my wife's kind heart stopped me..."

She laughed. 'You know something? I think you would get on very well with his little sister...'

"Oh really? And who would that be?"

'River.' The girl almost snapped. 'Looks like me, but green eyed.'

I smirk, thinking about it. "So they hate each other, then, do they?"
