-I fake a frown and say with something that sounded like surprise.- "Oh... and why so down?"

Hey Cyn wanna give Crouch a real hard time and have her find out about Benjamin?

A slight hiss, Cynder shook her head.

"hangover. I'm not even sure what happened..."

Ooc evil grin-

Ic Benjamin: comes in looks around and sneaks over to where Crouch and Cyn were and steals some food-

Cynder didn't really care about Ben stealing food, though she didn't exactly miss him.


"Oh, hello~"

-I turn around in surprise.-

Freezes and looks scared. Then even more scared when he realizes Crouch was talking to this girl-

Cynder blinked quietly, tilting her head to the side.

"No need to look so frightened. Unless it's Grouchy Crouch here you're scared of. Most people are..."

Looks like he wants to die but says- Err... No hes not scary....

-I watch silently.-

Cynder laughed and nodded.

"Glad you think so~ He's just a bit thick is all."

She shot Crouch a smug look, a short smile.

"Too thick to see what truth is right in front of his nose, really."

-I pull out my own wand and point it at her forehead.- "Be silent..."

"benjamin, why don't you go back?"

There was an angry series of clips from Cynder's arms, as the Ohmu protested at Crouch.

The girl remained calm, shrugging slightly before freezing.

"Hold on, you know him...?"

-I pick up on the clicking.- "What is that?"

Yes Father...-mutters-

Cynder's arms tightened around the Ohmu, hiding the baby insect in her arms, though it's golden antenna still peaked out of her arms to prod at her curiously.

"Nothing that you would care about."

A sudden freeze, the girl's jaw dropped as Ben spoke.

"Hold on... father..? Crouch... actually cares enough... to take in a frightened little boy as a son?"

-I look at the small antennae and I go to grab it.-

Wonders if this girl was an enemy and thats why his Dad didnt look happy-

Turns around and flees now knowing he was in serious trouble-

Cynder slapped Crouch's hand with a snarl.

"Stay away from him, you little bastard."


She turned and watched Ben flee the room, her eyes wide and curious now.

"... you.. you can't be serious.. he's just a cowardly boy...! And you took him in..? The powerful Crouch?"

-I scowl at her and say defensively.- "He's stronger than you know!"

"But what is so precious to you that you'd defend it from me?"

Before he gets out entirely hears her call him cowardly and tears sting his eyes. Nobody cared. Nobody knew how hard it was...

I'd leave... For good.. Go back to the streets...-

"And yet he couldn't stop shaking in his boots at the fact that he saw a big-chested woman talking to you. Yeah, real strong."
A sigh.
"But if you say so. I did feel bad for him..."


A slight roll of the eyes, she shifted her arms slightly, the Ohmu clicking and a steady red gleam coming from it's many eyes.
The girl crooned to it slightly, to calm it down, muttering to it for a moment before sighing.

"Everything that you could tear away from me is precious to protect, Crouch. But it's a special creature... part of a dying species.."

Crouch: -I look at the thing with disdain.- "What a revolting creature..."

-I then leave and go after Benjamin.-

Matthew: -I run in.- "Cynder!"

Cynder wrinkled her nose in anger and stuck her tongue out after Crouch, stroking the Ohmu gently, crooning to it comfortingly.


However, as soon as she heard Matthew, she lifted her head with a jolt, a large grin spreading over her face.
