The girl was seemingly alone, frantically shuffling chess pieces back and forth, almost paranoid with her actions. Imagining the firm hand on her shoulder, she continued playing, before realizing the whispers by her ear couldn't be fake.

'Well, if it isn't the weakest Desouza...' Lukas's lips curled into a smile, holding her in place as he continued talking.

'Now do you want to let me into your head, or shall I tell everyone the little secret you've been hiding?' A dark laugh, he watched Ace writhe in fear.

He moves quietly through the library, returning the pile of books in his arms to the proper shelves. The pile is so tall he can barely see over the top.

'The truth is..' Lukas began hissing, taking his time as he pressed his hands back down on her shoulders, keeping her still. 'You're a hoax, a con artist at best. You never made the cure, you're not even clever.'

He covered a hand over her mouth, whispering more poison into her ear.

He sighs with relief as he puts the last book away, and he stretches his arms to try to get rid of the stiffness in them. As he does so, a voice catches his attention.

An all too familiar voice.

Lukas continued, regardless of Eagle's presence. 'Chase won't love you once he knows that you're an idiot like the rest of them. Maybe I should spare him the trouble and tell him now.'

Ace remained mute, she couldn't say anything even if she wanted to. Go away, you're just a liar!

Anger slipping through the cracks of his control, Eagle approaches. His voice is deceptively calm when he speaks. "Just what are you hanging around for, Lukas?"

A sly grin swept accross his expression as he cast a nonverbal full body bind on Ace, before whirling around to face Eagle. 'Chase! buddy! just the person i wanted to see. Your girlfriend's been keeping secrets form you.'

'Oh? so it doesn't bother you that Ace didn't actually make the cure, that she was too stupid to?' Still facing the other way, a growl escaped Ace's lips, clearly pissed off that she couldn't comment.

'Well here is her reasoning..' he let his palm uncover her mouth, and her voice came out slightly robitically, but her words were truth.

'I was afraid you would think I wasn't good enough if I failed in making the cure, i didn't want you to realize i'm not as clever as I seem..' Lukas smirked to himself, this girl had lower self esteem than he thought.

He drew out his wand, chuckling darkly. 'I told you, talk time is over.' Lukas placed it against Ace's temple, a frightened look entering her vision.
