"Just know I'm not the most patient person in the world. The curiousity gets the better of me 9 times out of 10." He smirked and looked around the library, reading the titles of a few books around them, hoping to get a feel of what River was doing.

Sapphire sat with her legs crossed in the middle of one of the tables toward the back of the library. She flipped through an interesting book on potions each potion animated with beautiful artwork as she hummed a little. A small box wrapped in a soft black paper, a small green bow daintily placed on top lay on the table close to her bag.

"Don't be ridiculous, dear. I don't have humanity; never have, never will. You know, there's something my rival, Sherlock, has right." He walks around her a few steps, then pauses. "'Sentiment is a chemical defect found in the losing side'. Think that over for a moment, won't you?"

Her eyes followed him closely"Sounds like a load of waffle to me honestly..." Still her mind reeled at his words knowing there was some truth to be found. "How about I change the subject for now? Why are you here?" her eyes looked into his quizzically.
