Her fingers were still curled in her blonde hair, pulling out a few short strands of it as her hands fell limply to her sides. Her eyes seemed unusually large, child-like in their essence. 'But I am home, I am back.' she insisted. 'Nobody's hurt.'

She blinked at both of them, still clearly uncertain. 'You'll hate me, you'll all hate me..' that's how it's supposed to be Ace.

Ace shut her eyes, attempting to bring down the barrier with a conflicted heart. It let up a little, making her shiver, but not much else.

'I doubt that..' realisation was beginning to creep into her eyes, lighting up with a foreboding knowledge that whatever she'd done was going to leave her guilt wracken for longer than she'd thought.

She had to face the consequences, she knew it. what have i done to both of them...? the pieces hadn't clicked yet, not quite.
