Cynder blinked again, scowling as wolfishly as a wolf could.

She paused slightly, stopping in her tracks as her nose twitched.
She lowered her head.
There was a slight scent... was it..?

But it was old- stale.. or it was just overwhelmed by other smells.
The wolf snorted and shook her fur before trotting to catch up with the others.

Cynder gave a soft growl.

Her hackles rose quietly as she dipped her head, picking up her pace- faster then a trot, slower then a jog.
The scent was becoming stronger, more powerful, less stale. It was here.
A whine, Cynder broke into a canter, her paws thumping silently on the tunnel floor, her eyes narrowing.
