Brynmor Desouza is the second oldest Desouza sibling. He is the only son of the wizard John Abonacci, and acts as a paternal figure for his sisters. Wise and level-headed, Bryn's true loyalty lies with his sisters, doing everything he can to advise them and guide them, no matter their goals or intentions. A man of balance, Bryn is more than happy to associate with less favourable people in society, seeing potential in everyone he meets and never holding judgement.

He prides himself on his rationality, and the ability to assess any situation to try and make it beneficial for both parties. Although he cares deeply for his family, he respects the opposing decisions they make, acting as a neutral conduit for his sisters to negotiate with each other. However, his reluctance to pick a side can easily be his undoing.

Bryn is opposed to his father's underground connections, refusing to serve or work for him - He'd rather use his own logic and charisma to gain allies than to use brute force and threats. Whilst Abonacci no longer acknowledges Bryn as his son, Bryn only cares for the favour of his sisters.

Name: Amaya Desouza

Although she is one of the middle siblings, Amaya has been selected by Abonacci to rule the family's underground business and connections when he passes away. Extremely skilled with knives, Amaya acts as the "Executioner" for her father, taking out muggle targets with little concern or qualms. Far from a "Yes man", Amaya has a high disregard for authority and law, seeing them as unnecessary and useless. She'll do whatever she can to get her missions done, unless it involves abiding by the book. Her offensive spells are significantly more powerful than her defensive spells, preferring a hit and run tactic when in combat.

Amaya is fiercely protective of her youngest sister Meredia, often found in her company since she has nothing better to do. Although she is somewhat of an outcast in Slytherin, she does not care for the opinions formed of her, only holding Meredia close to her heart. Her relationship with Bryn is somewhat strained, but the pair respect the different paths they have taken in life- and she'd still come to his aid in a heartbeat.

Sarcastic and possessing a dry sense of humour, Amaya is easy to get along with - as long as you aren't a sucker for rules and regulations. Amaya believes these types of people are simply lying to themselves and only limiting their own potential.

Amaya is also particularly skilled at playing the violin.

Name: Meredia Desouza

Blood status: Muggle-born



Meredia is the youngest of the Desouza siblings, adopted into the family when she was found on the streets by Brynmor. Completely blind, Meredia relies on people's tone intonations and analysing their footsteps to deduce what type of people they are. She's actually quite a good judge of character, arguably better than any of her siblings. However, she is a complete bleeding heart and is willing to aid anyone, even if they are in a more fortunate position than her -as long as she thinks they have noble intentions. Meredia is a particularly loyal ally, being sorted into gryffindor for her desire to make the world a better place in any way that she can.

Despite appearing delicate and vulnerable, Meredia has spent her childhood training under her siblings in defensive spells. This has come at the cost of offensive ability, of which hers is non-existent. She is particularly good at identifying herbs by touch and smell.

Her naivety and positivity is almost contagious, a small ray of sunshine wherever she goes. Despite being repeatedly knocked down in life, Meredia remains optimistic about her future. She is best suited to a support role in combat and confrontations, often disarming people with her pure kindness. Meredia doesn't have a bad bone in her body.

Name: Lukas Moroskov

Lukas is the personification of chaos. He does whatever amuses him at the time, trying to constantly balance the scales between light and dark so he can be entertained. He has no true loyalties, although his intentions often align with Amaya's. He met the girl when she had a hit on someone he was squatting with, deciding to accompany her to Hogwarts after being drawn in by her chaotic personality. He considers Hogwarts part of his playground, and isn't threatened easily. The wizards and witches don't recognise him as a serpent in their midst, often using his charms and humour to get people to view him favourably. His desire to create the most mischief possible led him to be sorted into Gryffindor. He seems to get away with far more than he should be allowed to.

Lukas is a malicious fox spirit - turning from the path of kitsune many centuries ago. He is currently possessing the body of the boy Amaya killed, who just happened to have similar features to him anyway. However, Lukas can't hide his peculiarly yellow eyes, but not many dare to ask about them. He also has unusually pointed teeth for someone masquerading as a human.

He is a servant to his own boredom, and it is easy to gain Lukas's trust if you can provide him some form of amusement. Most of the time he is incredibly light-hearted and witty, usually uncensored in his manner and words. His housemates consider him a pyromaniac, usually finding him messing with fire spells and accidentally setting his room alight. He is impervious and energised by fire, but holy water has a particularly corrosive effect on his body, despite it being a human host. He is also weakened in states of peace and calm environments, literally finding sustenance from chaos that is unfolding around him. It is why Lukas can often be seen inciting arguements for his survival.

The nogitsune is capable of writing contracts for wizards, able to lend his power for a favour or a price. He currently owes a favour from Amaya Desouza for saving Meredia from a fire in their family's base of operations, rescuing the young gryffindor from an assassination attempt.

Whilst not evil, he is a slave to his chaotic desires.
