What If Your Character Wasn't A Wizard?

So I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and I was curious...

If your character wasn't a witch or wizard or even in the Harry Potter realm, what would be their profession? What would they be like?

Whenever I imagine Raven outside the Harry Potter universe, I see her as a stripper at a club... xD  She'd still be the same strong, independent person she is, but just without magic.

Sam would be a freelance artist I think, not that she's really that magical anyway... Yeah, she'd basically be the same.

Jack would be the same as well... A completely mad scientist!

Crouch = Anarchistic terroristic serial killer XD So really what's changed? >.>
Artemis = Police commissioner 
Artisan = Inventor, possible show host I'd love to see him doing a Bill Nye type of show!
Crest = Black Ops operative
Topher = Works in Vegas, dealer maybe
Joachim = Con artist so not much change XD Actually he'd probably be in jail by now
Eugene = ... coffin stuffer?

Hmm..
Rook would be... An aristocrat of some.sort. I can't see him being anything but a wizard though D:

Meredia: Dance teacher, or some sort of teacher for the blind

Amaya: Assassin/mafia hitman

Bryn: A judge or some sort of higher court member
Cayden: As above, duh

Ace: Agent, or a detective.

Donia: Mercenary or double agent, probably work for criminals.

Lukas: A drug dealer, honestly.
